There are no realistic competitors left at QB. Besides, Geno should be back by about week 4. Unless Jets hit another major pothole, Fitz and Petty should be enough to hold the fort before getting QB2 back.
Sorry my Sarcasm meter was slightly askew. I'm sort of incredulous that people think that a guy the just wrecked his owners billion dollar investment, over such a matter, should have a place in the league.
Because I have heard to many people say the same thing about every other QB and after they're gone you hear the truth. I don't believe slot of what I read about behind the scenes stuff. I'm not that naive. You have no idea what's true or not. You're just hoping it's true because you're a Geno fan, which is fine. But just because you state it as fact doesn't make it true. _

It's no doubt a big disappointment to know that it's now impossible for Geno Smith to start all 16 games and play decently throughout the season and firmly establish himself as our QB of the future. So in that sense, I agree with you about 2015 being derailed. But as far as making the playoffs in 2015, I don't think this injury necessarily diminishes our chances of making the playoffs. Hopefully GS will get healthy quickly enough that he will have a large enough sample size of games to show us whether he has a future as our starter.
lolllll... yeah. I mean even if they were to square up i'd put my money on IK anyway. I can see either sheldon, marshall, or cro speaking up in detail about what happened. more so cro and sheldon. we'll find out
Gonna play a little devil's advocate here. I agree w/ what you are saying here - but Geno, as a man had an obligation and he did not keep it. Give IK an ETA, if it meant that much to him, give him a few bucks right then and there and things would calm down. Just be real with the man and move on. Geno could have said no to going to IK's camp from the start - he chose to go in which creates an obligation to pay for his own expenses. It's unfortunate what happen to his friend, but that doesn't give you a pass, I think both were accountable - sucks a broken jaw came out of it.
