Rappaport reported that IK has issued a statement where he apologised to coaches, fans and team mates but that BOTH he and Geno let their frustrations get in the way. Given that the incident escalated in the locker room others SHOULD have intervened. I was rooting for Geno but the fact that he needed to be a leader he should have walked away or not let himself get into the position. What will it mean for whatever chance he had of being a long term member of the team as he is sure to lose respect – Revis also has been reported as confirming that BOTH were involved in the heated discussion.
LOL.. Guess Geno's food bill is gonna go down quite a bit. Maybe he can scrounge up the Grand now and pay IK...
Really rooted for IK man, sucks he's no longer on the team. Did we really have to cut him? I would've sent him home for the rest of training camp at the very least. Maybe put him on a PUP list IDK.
He'll be fine up in Buffalo with the greatest Jets coach ever to walk the sidelines according to T4U.
was just on the BBC website and I saw the headline "US & Canada - Quarterback out after 'sucker punch'" and even before I clicked it I somehow knew it was going to be about the Jets.
We will see more of Petty in the preseason now....that's ok I guess Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
So now , we are going to have Fitz benched for Geno A little different than those who jumped to the conclusion that Geno borrowed money from IK, or lost a bet.
Oh. That could be. Not funny, though. Bowles did say it was a sucker punch, so that implies one punch total. He also said the argument was childish. He must be sick to his stomach.
