Anything can be broken in many different ways, let's not get too technical with this. It's not like they know the severity of it at this point anyway, the reports came out right after this thing happened. Odds are he was probably still laying KTFO in the locker room when some of the beat writers were already tweeting he's out 6-8 weeks.
They have a ton of shakes and vitamins that will allow him to retain his weight. There are even more options then that, he's not going to lose 20 lbs. Lol
Depends on his recovery, he might not be back until after the BYE dude. 10 Weeks at the most. 4 preseason games, possible he misses 4 regular season games to add on.
I hope the team sues this fucking idiot. He's completely destroyed this team chances. Fitzpatrick had lagged far behind geno all summer long petty not even close to be ready few yrs Away. A complete waste of all the money spent. This was a season killer and if you think Fitzpatrick is the answer your fooling yourself
dude I am a Geno Smith supporter theres no fuckin way I was hoping for this result. I will bet my fuckin house he's not back by week 2. I'd be surprised if he's back by week 8. and I totally suspect he will have taken steps backward as far as ability if/when he does come back in 2015
i think the Bills will grab him, and he'll have an opportunity to knock out Geno once again. perfect fit.....knows the D. i'm upset we lost him.
The only reason to have surgery is to wire his jaw and maybe put in a couple of screws but hell it was only a punch and I don't think even Mike Tyson could hit somebody so hard that it would be more than that.
Ok, even worst case scenario, which I highly doubt. We still have 12 games left to be played. Why in the world would he be done for 2015 when (at worst) he would still have 12 important games of the season left to be played?
@AGrossRecord: Gotta love the #NYJets, who need to dress their QBs in the red no-contact jerseys just to walk through the locker room.
That's the point I'm trying to make. We can't assume he should be practicing in 2 weeks. At the same time it could truly be a 6-week injury. We have to wait and see.
