Wow, this is hands down the best show on television this year. I cannot believe how amazing this show is...It came out of left field and airs on USA Network. I binged on 7 episodes straight...It is brought to us by guys behind the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and True Detective. The show is extremely original and I love everything about it. Superb reviews on Rotten Tomatoes and IMDb has it at 9.2 rating with 37,000 ratngs http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4158110/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1 On Rottentoamtoes its at 97% http://www.rottentomatoes.com/tv/mr-robot/s01/ Impressive. Here is the preview...Any one else check this show out? Feels like a movie, this thing is like last year's True Detective coming to us in full force with greatness right off the bat.
I was excited about watching it but never found out when it started. Good to hear, I'll watch it now. _
I definitely can see it being too edgy for some and can be slow for others. Very complex and interesting to me though. What did you not like about it? Premiere was amazing
The Robin Hood premise doesn't appeal to me, the concept of redistribution of wealth. The thought of how it would affect commonfalk never enters this leader's mind. My problem though really with glorification of this approach. The acting was good.
I dont think he wants to redistribute wealth, but wants to eliminate 70% of the debt the world has by getting rid of Evil Group
There has been a lot of talk about this show in my office. Can someone give me an idea as to what it is about without giving away spoilers?
Check out the extended trailer above, it helps...But here is a plot that is not spoilerish Follows a young computer programmer (Malek) who suffers from social anxiety disorder and forms connections through hacking. He's recruited by a mysterious anarchist, who calls himself Mr. Robot. Elliot Alderson, a young cyber-security engineer living in New York who assumes the role of a vigilante hacker by night. Elliot meets a mysterious anarchist known as "Mr. Robot" who recruits Elliot to join his team of hackers, "fsociety". Elliot, who has a social anxiety disorder and connects to people by hacking them, is intrigued but uncertain if he wants to be part of the group. The show follows Mr. Robot's attempts to engage Elliot in his mission to destroy the corporation Elliot is paid to protect called E Group (Evil Group is the actual name lol). Compelled by his personal beliefs, Elliot struggles to resist the chance to take down the multinational CEOs that are running (and ruining) the world.
You're telling me...That ending was like 'Whoa did they just go there?' We finally know whats going on now with this Mr. Robot. Very surprised
