    Okay, explains the crowd.

How is it that you get to meet everybody? I was impressed that you got to meet Sandy and the other FO guys, Ricco, DePodesta, and Ricciardi. Is that promotional for ST holders?

No, one of my lawyers is a huge sports fan and has nearly unlimited entertainment money.

He buys a ton of these things through charity auctions or through Tiki's company Thuzio.

But once he meets some of these guys, he actually keeps in touch with them and they'll contact him directly for events. Or he'll reach out on his own to a facility (Citifield, MetLife, MSG or Barclays) to plan events and play games there. Or front row top of the Green Monster at Fenway. The best dinner we ever had was with Fred Lynn, he told stories and bullshitted with us for hours.

He really keeps in touch so we get some great gigs. He and Doc text each other all the time, same with Clemens. Tiger's caddie keeps texting us to go golfing again. Cans eco was a hoot. The worst was golf with Mike Schmidt.

But he's really struck a nice relationship with Jay Horowitz. He made a huge donation to the woman in the front office that is fighting cancer and now, basically anything he wants to do there he can. That's how I got to throw out the first pitch down in Port St. Lucie. Hell, every game I go to at CitiField we're on field for BP and visiting the clubhouse.

It's been a good run, some pretty cool stuff.

4 bbs and a single with bases loaded. Now that's good baseball. Like Ron Darling said a month ago Mets bats would have swung in the dirt at bad pitches. Now they take pitches and if they can't hit a pitcher still score on them.

Wow, pretty cool.... for a Mets fan to boot. That's good stuff. Those are some great seats @Citi too.

Can of corn for Grandy on that fly. But nice play by Yoe.

Definitely like Johnson in the INF more, but not too much harm done

Thats a shitty way to end the road trip. 2 games we could've won with some better hitting. Even though the offense its better the same bad habits keep coming up , like being content with one good inning of scoring. Archer didnt have very good stuff today and the TB pen isnt anything great either. No reason why 3 runs should've been the ceiling of the offense today.

Still I'll take a 4-2 road trip and a division lead going into a 7 game homestand. Nats going out West so hopefully we can open up a little bit of a lead in the division this week.

After the highs of the previous week that sucked. But that place is tough to win in sometimes, and they're good

7 up @home coming. Gotta get 4 of 7 at least....obviously. Pitt is a bit of a showdown and an outside WC competitor

Especially being up 3-0 in the first yesterday.

I thought we'd rout them 10-1 and then finish the sweep today.

Sandy spoke after the game a little, some roster moves coming tomorrow, possibly.

    Wright's really close now too.

I never believed even a month ago that Wright would be the answer. To me he's been a regressing player even when not injured. And his contract was one of the worst the Mets have given any player because of the enormity of it. The Wilpons didn't want to give that money to him. And didn't Fred even diss him the previous year. They were forced into it by public pressure kind of the way Woody was pushed to sign Revis this year. I hope I'm wrong about Wright but I hope if he doesn't hit Terry plays his best player at 3rd like he's been saying he would. And that could be Uribe.

Will be interesting to see what they do with Conforto. I think he needs to be up here and Cuddyer should platoon and come off the bench.

Uribe has been more than solid but he shouldnt be an everyday player IMO. He's and above average bench bat and a good guy to have to give Wright his breaks.

Supposedly TC is going to bat Wright 2nd when he gets bat. I think thats a horrible idea. Murph has been more than solid the fast couple weeks in the 2 hole. Dont fuck with him , Wright should earn his way back to the top of the lineup. Bat him 5th.

I was just thinking about Conforto and Cuddyear this afternoon and I really want Conforto up here playing the bulk of the games and getting experience.

It's silly but I'm almost done with Cuddyear. Let him be a bat off the bench and a utility player spelling 1st and 3rd and OF.

I feel like our offense has become pretty deep and we can afford to carry Conforto while he continues to develop and in any event I don't think Cuddyear is going to give you much more bat than Conforto.

What is he going to learn going back to Vegas?

Very, Very disappointing series. Hopefully we get back on track and take this next series. Luckily, the nats keep losing so it isn't to harmful, but every time they lose and we lose, it is a wasted opportunity

I'm 50/50 with Conforto. The argument would be to let the kid play everyday in Vegas and put that little bit of extra seasoning on his game.

The experience up here in the pressure cooker is something he can handle I think, and is a different kind of learning experience. Like Keith says, 'throw him in the water and let him swim'. It might be better suited for a veteran tho.

It's all good. Whatever they decide

I just don't want to hear about Cuddy's knee, one way or the other. Just do it.

Glad they kept the kid up here and arent forcing Cuddy back into the lineup. He isnt an everyday player at this point of his career. And when he's struggling it makes it even harder to watch him bat.

Couple days old but that was awesome, big comeback win and then the same night the Nats give up a grand slam to blow a 4-1 lead lolol.

Conforto was very happy to stay and the kid is confident. The team feels really good about him too.

We have a good veteran Clubhouse now and that's good. Terry has a lot of options now too.
We're a little slow, but Cespedes and Grandy can run at least

I don't know where Wright's gonna fit in and who's spot he's taking. That's gonna be interesting.
His bat and presence will certainly help tho.

This is gonna be a white knuckler the whole way, lol

I agree, was just talking to a fellow met fan at work and I'm of the same opinion on Cuddy. With Conforto, Cespedes, Uribe and Johnson, they have some balance and chemistry.

Putting Cuddy and Wright back in, will take time to establish chemistry. They could go into a tailspin and allow the Nats back in.
