Makes perfect sense that the NFL would want to do a hit job on the Super Bowl MVP. I mean, every billion dollar entertainment industry giant is motivated to do things like that to its top performers.

The NFL has a consistent track record of doing things their way (which i susbscribe to being many faulty ways), but they are the authority. Seems the NFL decided to investigate NE due to many inquiries into issues with their playing the game.

Seems like they caught them in the act when checking the balls and the broken protocols......add the media fanning it for ratings doesn't help all parties. The NFL standard was minimum standard as put into practice by NFL during Spygate.........oh look, NE caught cheating again. The preponderance of the evidence shows that NE was doing wrong AGAIN!!!

And the NFL still doesn't want to take the cover on all the NE shenanigans over the years. This is due to Roger put in a bad position by Kraft.

I want the truth no matter what. But it should be clear to everyone, including Pats fans, that members of the Pats organization acted quite shady (you know like a guilty person would). Both sides of this thing are coming off pretty bad. This level of incompetence has come to be expected from the league, the difference being for once it is directed at the Pats.

I think this is totally reasonable. There are some questionable things, but so far I haven't seen anything that isn't written off with a very plausible excuse.

In my opinion, the NFL was acting much much shadier than 12 here. The fact that they didn't even know about the ideal gas law is just pathetic on a human level. Mike Kensil and Troy Vincent's parents should have smothered them in their sleep as children. I think they got Goodell into this mess and they were in so deep with the Super Bowl there was no way to control the fire when they finally learned 6th grade physics.

Well sure, either that or someone was selling the footballs. The k-balls are an entirely different procedure kept by the refs.

My biggest question in all of this is how BB came out with nothing. I say this only because of Sean Peyton's "he should of known" suspension. I believe that shining example on inconsistency illustrates what a circus the league office is.

If you believe Stephen A. Smith, the NFL supposedly put in a clause after SpyGate that said if Bill was found guilty of anything involving the integrity of the game the NFL could BAN him. I doubt they want to try to ban him over this (especially since there's no evidence he was involved implicitly or not)...they're having enough issues with Brady's month-long suspension.

I think losing the 1st and 4th round picks is a pretty big penalty.

What you keep missing is that the truth has already come out. There is no question that Br*dy cheated. The appeal covers who supposedly handed down the punishment, that the punishment was "unprecedented" and the previous appeal was unfair and violated the CBA.
Even if his punishment is reduced to 2 games it is already determined that he cheated by conspiring to have the balls deflated.

Um.....yeah. All other nfl qbs say they know all there is to know about grip feel and air pressure.....

Why does the 6th round pick from Mochigan feign ignorance or that this is inconsequential ? lie much? This is why he was judged to be generally aware. See the ignorance is no excuse also applies in this case

Guess the P*ts are running PFT now, I tried to leave a comment under one of the articles and they deleted it.

All I said was something to the effect that all these P*ts fans keep talking about Ideal Gas law as if they know what it is. The only time those chuckleheads even come close to something to do with gas is when their wife gives them a dutch oven.

  20. Sure we'll let the Patriots blatantly cheat, lie about it,spit in the face of the investigation, & suffer no consequence. Afterall they're the almighty Patriots. How dare anyone question ANYTHING they do ethical or not.

That's all fine & good. But starting next year we're bringing Westhoff back w/ his cane, folding chairs on sidelines & Bowles will carry a bag of salt for the eyes.
