Good for you. My kids are coming back in 10 days and this is my second to last weekend of drinking freely at home. When kids are home, I am not allowed to drink. That said, I started drinkin at 1:34 PM and planning on finishing a 6 pack, then starting on white wine with some sharp cheddar cheese. Life is good and Stokes, I love you big bro.
Are you guys aware that your body produces a trace amount of alcohol just during the normal digestive process? And that the stuff is so poisonous that humans have evolved to the point that there are something like 27 different enzymatic processes we've developed to eliminate them from our systems before they can damage sensitive tissue? And that every time you swallow a mouthful of booze you are deliberately overwhelming this astounding natural defense system your body has developed to protect you? Really didn't know about this 27 enzymes. For me, good old drunk days are almost over. Wife is back with the kids and back to my boring life as I am not allowed to drink at home. And I am too careful not to drink outside as I am scared of drunk driving. Now this 27 enzyme thing is news to me. A big thank you for that. About Stokes. He is not my type.
