Nah we're just the most interested in the case since it affects our team. We tend to look for those who DO know law and cite their opinions when they favor our own and can agree with them. Every fan of every team is guilty of doing the same. A Jets fan without extensive knowledge is going to believe what an NFL sided lawyer says just like a Pats fan without extensive knowledge will tend to believe the word of a Pats sided lawyer (or scientist, etc.) We're all guilty, myself included. I'm a diehard fan, I can't always take the glasses off. But I do believe that the NFL is making things up as they go and getting caught by a lawyer who has killed the NFL before.
Piled on top of their expertise with respect to atmospheric conditions, physics and gas theories, these idiots from Boston are obviously much smarter than they appear. _
I think both are corrupt and generally incompetent. I wouldn't wan't either at my back. But the NFL is more so, especially the last year or 2. Though the NFLPA has a reputation (though forced) to defend guys like Hernandez, Rice, and Peterson, which I don't like. There should be situations where they are allowed to choose not to protect someone given certain circumstances.
Vincent relayed Goodells punishment, there is nothing in the CBA that says Goodell has to personally deliver the message. What section of the CBA states that they have to tell someone, "you are breaking the rules, please don't break the rules, if you break the rules again you will be punished"? The rules are there in black and white, you break the rules you get punished. In addition, it is not just equipment tampering, there were continued actions which undermine the integrity of the game. This was not one ball deflated in one game, it was a systematic attempt to circumvent the rules over the course of at least one season but probably going back to 2006, unfortunately the league could not go back that far and probably did not want to anyway since Br*dy has done enough damage. Br*dy also did not fully cooperate with the investigation which by itself carries a 2 game suspension, that is the minimum punishment that should have been possible. The CBA gives the commish the authority to impose penalties for actions that undermine the integrity of the game, this certainly fits and I would think the extremes Br*dy and his crew went to, the 2 games in addition to the other 2 I mentioned is quite reasonable. For someone who claimed to never had much dealings with "The Deflator", Br*dy then had a 25 minute phone conversation, exchanged 10 text messages and met with Jastremski personally right after this all came down. These are not the actions of an innocent man.
I don't recall seeing Doty in the CBA, when wikipedia says citation needed as your cut and paste does, that means there is not linked proof of the statement. I could be wrong but I think someone thought that since he had been involved in many arbitration cases that he was the only one that could. Doty has also sided almost exclusively with the NFLPA so it makes sense that the league would try and get it in front of another judge. Especially since Doty seems to have gotten the Peterson case wrong. It also seems that the judge thinks NY is the correct venue and that Minnesota makes no sense as a venue.
Fucking Familia..... asshole!!!! Ridiculous.... these assholes are up 7-1 and this piece of shit bullpen blows the fucking game. Yes and I know it's the wring fucking thread.

It's funny that Pats fans can't comprehend that she is vastly more famous and wealthy then he is. Outside of North America she married down.
Gazzelle has her own shitstorm to deal with now. Been a bad month/year for the Bundchen's. http://www.barstoolsports.com/newyork/gisele-hides-in-shame-under-a-burqa-in-paris/
