Most likely, the Van Dyke fumble is when I finally gave up hope. After suffering through those miserable '90's jets teams, that was the play that ended the Superbowl dream for me, even it was already over for everyone else. Seared in my brain for eternity.

I don't know about that. Many of those guys have championship rings or multiple SB appearances. Marino has neither.
