I like that Jerry Jones spoke up to bolster support for upholding the suspension.

Up until now, the opposite end of the spectrum has been staggeringly quiet.

Where you headed with this chief?

But not the City of Lights. Giselle just went to Paris to have work done on her "golden wings" (and peepers) and unsuccessfully attempted to deceive the paparazzi by doning a burqa, except check out the footware: open-toed shoes/sandals are a Bozo no-no in strict Muslim circles. And on the flip side, face coverings have been illegal in France since 2011.

    From the London Daily Mail:
These photos show former supermodel Gisele Bündchen donning a burqa in an unsuccessful bid to evade the paparazzi as she checked into a famous plastic surgery clinic in Paris earlier this month.

In the images, Bündchen and her younger sister, Rafaela, are pictured stepping out of a black Mercedes outside Clinique du Parc Monceau dressed in the traditional Muslim wear.

Thanks to the head-to-toe black garment, the only features of the recently-retired supermodel that are visible are her feet. But her identity is given away by the presence of her longtime chauffeur.
Just a day before the driver dropped off the two women at the clinic, Bündchen - who reportedly got plastic surgery at the facility - was seen elsewhere in Paris with her chauffeur of at least five years.

The sisters also clearly did not do their research on the Muslim culture, as they are both wearing open-toed sandals in the photos - something strict Muslim women are prohibited from wearing.

not many of them are going to talk publically. Jerrah has before in support of Rog. Behind the curtain, i am certain Kraft has had 31 other phone calls telling him to be very careful

If thats the TOTAL case JWWS, I am wrong and you are correct. For some reason...and its happened in the past..the court system will for some reason squeeze by and go to "privacy" somehow. If thats the case, then the main part becomes him and the proof or destruction of solid proof. The courts have shown, in the past, to look at NFL bylaws with utter disbelief...like the laws were written for some alien planet (which would be the case if you showed them to..oh...your wife?)

Hopefully, that will not happen. We shall see.

Goodell didn't discipline anyone in this case, Troy Vincent did. That's a problem. There was also no advanced warning. That's a precedent established in the AP v NFL case last year. Alleged equipment tampering by a team employee is a team punishment, not a player punishment per the CBA.

Whether anything was actually done or not, the punishment breaks the rules (and past precedents, aka Jets ballboy tampering with the balls in 2009 and Car/Min or whatever game it was this year) established by the CBA on a few accounts.

The wording from the judge pretty much said, made sense for the NFL to file in NY, why the hell did Br*dy and NFLPA file in Minnesota.

"Throughout his career as a judge, Doty has played an important role in labor disputes involving the National Football League (NFL).[1] Judge Doty is named in the current NFL collective bargaining agreement (CBA) as the ultimate arbiter of grievances or issues between the NFL Players Association and the NFL Management Council.[citation needed] On March 1, 2011, he ruled that the NFL violated the CBA by negotiating a $4 billion payment from their broadcasting partners, in effect purchasing insurance against a potential lockout.[2]"

Because Doty is named as their Arbiter in the CBA. Goodell and the NFL are the ones who scrambled to file first to get their own Judge, not the NFLPA. The NFL was in such a hurry to file that they had to redo their coversheet because they forgot to sign it.

They just wanted to make sure they beat the lying cheating scumbag into court so he couldn't do an end run on the league.

Brady's lawyers should have been standing in the courthouse steps in Minny waiting for the ruling to come down so they could file their TRO.

    The league had better lawyers.

    It worked to perfection.

And who among us hasn't screwed up a caption?

Yes, and she's a mere 40 years younger - like peas-in-a-pod those two.
