You forgot the part where Br*dy was supposed to provide the names of all the people he texted. Who would trust that cheating fuck to provide anything?

Yeah, they can get a somewhat complete list from the cheating fuck, then they can try and track down all those people, then they can try and get those people to give up their text messages if they still have them, if not they can ask those people to sign a release so the NFL can request the messages from the cell phone company, then the NFL could go to the cell phone company for the records.

Or this, the cheating fuck could have just given them his cell phone instead of destroying it.

    Dumb ass

Yeah that, or it's a great way to keep the NFL from seeing your personal business since there can't possibly be that many people of interest to the NFL. They can cross the phone numbers with the phone owners I'm sure, even most cell phones are online in a deep search.

And that's it. Like I said how many people can possibly be of interest and that keeps Brady's photos? And text messages completely private unless they are relevant.

I mean c'mon this isn't crazy stuff, it makes more sense than anything else. Cell phones have all kinds of private stuff on there and the NFL was LEAKING info to the press that was WRONG! Who would trust them with a cell phone of all things????

Man. I love football but the level of dysfunction in the league right now is reaching epic proportions. Every time you think they have topped themselves, Goodell is literally like Groucho Marx saying, "you think the league is bad off now! Just wait till I get through with it." The games are almost a sidebar to the soap opera. People watch football but is it for the right reasons anymore? No wonder soccer is becoming so damn popular.

    You just don't get it....

The difference is then it became up to the discretion of those people if they were willing to turn over the texts that would incriminate Brady and because they weren't the ones being suspended for cheating they had no reason to cooperate with the league in turning over evidence that would incriminate their friend.

As you have so horribly been trying to say the NFL is not a court, so what gives them the authority to go after the people on the receiving end of those texts? They don't have the ability to subpoena people. Brady's lawyers knew this which is exactly why they played this game, in hopes that it would sway some people in the court of public opinion that "hey Brady did offer to cooperate.... sort of" He just destroyed the evidence and told the league to go talk to my friends now who of course will back up that I'm a great guy with high morals who would never cheat on my pregnant girlfriend I mean in football.

Your spin job on this is comical and the fact that you so desperately need validation from Jet fans is pretty sick to be honest. Of course you'll say you don't need that but why spend hours on hours and hundreds of posts almost all in one thread if you don't?

No officer I wasn't drinking in my car (as I throw the bottles out the window while you aren't looking) but here is the bar as I was at, they'll tell you I was drinking Mountain Dew. I go there every night after work and I only drink Mountain Dew. I would never drink and drive. Oh you failed a breathalyzer... well the science was off, you see it was a very cold night so the gauge had to be off. We have video evidence of you going into a bathroom with a bottle of beer in your hand... O that I was only going to dump that down the toilet. We have text messages in which you refer to this guy as the alcoholic, oh that is just some code word we have for this guy who likes the smell of rubbing alcohol so we call him the alcoholic. But really I'm innocent....

Brady's future actions could lead to Patriots limbo
    By BARRY WILNER, AP

FILE - In this Feb. 2, 2015, file photo, New England Patriots quarterback T...
This isn't over. Not by a long shot.
Roger Goodell's decision to uphold Tom Brady's four-game suspension is not likely the end of the deflated footballs saga.
Brady appears headed to court seeking to overturn the suspension, and at the same time would place his New England Patriots in a damaging quarterback limbo.
Brady wants his name cleared, particularly after the damaging information released Tuesday in Goodell's decision on Brady's appeal, so he and the players' union will seek an injunction stopping the suspension until the case is heard and ruled upon, whenever that might be.

Suppose Brady loses in court, too. In late November or early December. New England could be without its four-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback for the stretch drive, when it is trying to make the playoffs — usually a foregone conclusion for the Patriots.
Cynics will point out that Brady and the Patriots got to a Super Bowl, which they won, after doctoring the footballs in the AFC championship game. So any such dark scenario for them when winter hits is a payback.
Brady supporters will argue that the evidence is circumstantial, at best, and that his destroying his cellphone displays little more than bad judgment and timing.
Regardless, the biggest dilemma in "Deflategate" now faces the franchise Brady has led to the top.
Here are some things the Patriots must ponder as this drama reaches the next stage:

SUPPORTING BRADY: While building an offensive line to protect their crown jewel is a gimme, aiding Brady's court case is anything but for the Patriots. Owner Robert Kraft is not fighting the team's $1 million fine and loss of two draft picks, and though he doesn't want Brady sidelined at all, losing him for the first four matches is easier to swallow than for, say, the final four games. One of the league's most influential men and a longtime adviser to Goodell, Kraft would, in essence, be confronting his fellow owners by backing Brady's legal case.
The team's strongly worded condemnation of Goodell's decision on Tuesday in which the Patriots used such words as "folly" and "incomprehensible." The Patriots said they "continue to unequivocally believe in and support Tom Brady," but in a court of law, how much assistance can Kraft really provide?

GETTING JIMMY READY: Brady's QB heir might not be Jimmy Garoppolo, especially if Brady carries through on his plan to play a few more seasons. For now, with the two-time league MVP's availability uncertain, the Patriots have no choice but to turn to the second-year quarterback with 27 pro passes on his resume. Journeyman Matt Flynn would be a desperate option.
So who gets how many snaps in training camp practices and preseason games? Brady likes to take nearly all of them in practice, but if Garoppolo is likely to start against Pittsburgh when the season kicks off on Sept. 10, he'll need to be as sharp and tested as any quarterback can get during the summer.
Brady is allowed to partake in all preseason activities. Just how many of those activities should involve getting Garoppolo ready instead of having Brady take the reps?

GAME-PLANNING: Not knowing when Brady will be taking snaps in a real game can hinder the entire makeup of the Patriots, who like to game-plan for specific opponents — and do that better than anyone. They appear weaker for 2015 with the losses of standout cornerbacks Darrelle Revis and Brandon Browner; DT Vince Wilfork, a leader of the defense; and running backs Shane Vereen and Stevan Ridley. The rest of the AFC East looks improved.
It will take some coaching brilliance to keep the Patriots' offense rolling under such uncertain circumstances.

I am very disappointed by the NFL’s decision to uphold the 4 game suspension against me. I did nothing wrong, and no one in the Patriots organization did either.

Despite submitting to hours of testimony over the past 6 months, it is disappointing that the Commissioner upheld my suspension based upon a standard that it was “probable” that I was “generally aware” of misconduct. The fact is that neither I, nor any equipment person, did anything of which we have been accused. He dismissed my hours of testimony and it is disappointing that he found it unreliable.

I also disagree with yesterdays narrative surrounding my cellphone. I replaced my broken Samsung phone with a new iPhone 6 AFTER my attorneys made it clear to the NFL that my actual phone device would not be subjected to investigation under ANY circumstances. As a member of a union, I was under no obligation to set a new precedent going forward, nor was I made aware at any time during Mr. Wells investigation, that failing to subject my cell phone to investigation would result in ANY discipline.

Most importantly, I have never written, texted, emailed to anybody at anytime, anything related to football air pressure before this issue was raised at the AFC Championship game in January. To suggest that I destroyed a phone to avoid giving the NFL information it requested is completely wrong.

To try and reconcile the record and fully cooperate with the investigation after I was disciplined in May, we turned over detailed pages of cell phone records and all of the emails that Mr. Wells requested. We even contacted the phone company to see if there was any possible way we could retrieve any/all of the actual text messages from my old phone. In short, we exhausted every possibility to give the NFL everything we could and offered to go thru the identity for every text and phone call during the relevant time. Regardless, the NFL knows that Mr. Wells already had ALL relevant communications with Patriots personnel that either Mr. Wells saw or that I was questioned about in my appeal hearing. There is no “smoking gun” and this controversy is manufactured to distract from the fact they have zero evidence of wrongdoing.

I authorized the NFLPA to make a settlement offer to the NFL so that we could avoid going to court and put this inconsequential issue behind us as we move forward into this season. The discipline was upheld without any counter offer. I respect the Commissioners authority, but he also has to respect the CBA and my rights as a private citizen. I will not allow my unfair discipline to become a precedent for other NFL players without a fight.

Lastly, I am overwhelmed and humbled by the support of family, friends and our fans who have supported me since the false accusations were made after the AFC Championship game. I look forward to the opportunity to resume playing with my teammates and winning more games for the New England Patriots.

That's why I am so mad in particular. Brady got caught, he should had just admitted it. That would warrant a minor $25,000 fine. But he destroyed evidence and went on the offensive. Pats fans went on the offensive. Calling the investigation a sham when thats the protocol of the NFL. This acting like they are above the law is ridiculous and the NFL had to do something otherwise you might as well have called it the Patriots Football League.

They all talk and believe it's the Pats Football League and BB is greater than Lombardi and TB is greater than Montana and Unitas

Guess what. No one is bigger and above the collective NFL rules ....Brady certainly acting this way now is no surprise. Everytime he speaks, he digs the hole deeper.......keep talking Tom.......Tom Turkey

    HOF .......poof ! !

You do realize that all text messages are stored with the provider right? If the NFL really wanted those msgs retrieved, it is possible to do it.

10,000+ text messages from november to march?

if there was any doubt Brady shares many characteristics of a teenage girl, he certainly put those doubts to rest

Brady's arrogance is truly mind boggling.
It truly borders on being on being a sociopath!

The DSM-5 defines antisocial personality as someone have 3 or more of the following traits:
    1. Regularly breaks or flaunts the law -- Check
    2. Constantly lies and deceives others -- Check
    3. Is impulsive and doesn’t plan ahead
    4. Can be prone to fighting and aggressiveness -- Maybe??
    5. Has little regard for the safety of others
    6. Irresponsible, can’t meet financial obligations
    7. Doesn’t feel remorse or guilt -- Check
Symptoms start before age 15, so by the time a person is an adult, they are well on their way to becoming a psychopath or sociopath.

@nickshaheenesq: NFL doing more to Brady than the USA did to terrorists at Guantanamo Bay. Waterboarding a superstar because of jealousy, envy and insecurity

@MattTB12: I would die for Tom Brady - I believe he is 150% innocent and I will take that feeling to my grave #FreeBrady

The scenes on Pats twitter and Patsfans are a thing of beauty.
