Mark Brunell says he changes his phone every year but who destroys them. Another silly excuse by Brady among many. Esp when you're being investigated. Plus the NFL doesn't have subpoena powers so they can't get Brady's phone records from his carrier. Of course Brady can so why not get the records and give them to the league if you're so innocent. As for it not being illegal to deflate balls. Well it's against the rules which Brady agreed to abide by when he signed his contract.

He should be cut immediately, like Hernandez was.

Well, maybe not immediately, but shortly after I finish copyrighting "Broadway Brady"

However I have to ask you in these court cases has there been a player who has callously attempted to undermine the investigation in such a way Brady has? From meeting with these ball boys, to refusing to speak with Wells a 2nd time to destroying his cell phone and just refusing to cooperate at all? Now he is caught in another lie he told the league.

Roger Cossack said that if Brady files a defamation of character suit against the NFL he would definitely have to testify. PS if Brady does try to file an injunction in Federal court it'll be in Minnesota because the Federal judge there has ruled against the NFL before and is considered to be pro-NFL Union. The reason Brady's lawyers are confident.

I read in the Globe that the league has already filed suit in federal district court to affirm the decision.

Show me where there are asterisks on any NFL records.

Only asterisks are on jealous and envious rival message boards.

They come up with some of the worst BS excuses. Like how the "Deflator" was used to describe a guy losing weight, and now this, lol.

BP...you are making too much sense sir. Im with you 1000 percent. The problem is...AND I COULD BE DEAD WRONG...is the penalty by the NFL. Our court systems never can wrap their brains around make believe and reality. Lets face it...the NFL is make believe. If you are correct in your opinion, which I TOTALLY AGREE WITH, then Mr. Brady should serve time in the real world. So, what to do.

Mixing our court systems with NFL rules of deflating footballs and not handing over phones is almost impossible for the courts to do. Ones obstruction of justice for destroying a cell phone because you...ummmm...took air out of a ball?

Is taking air out of a ball a reason to invade someones privacy? Blah blah.

Thats the reason I said from the beginning that Brady is the biggest scumbag...the biggest hypocrite...the biggest piece of crap in the NFL. He takes millions and millions..and more millions of dollars a year to play in a league that is make believe to the real world...only to go to the real world because the league he signed up for caught him "taking air out of footballs". Go into your backyard and take some air out of the football laying on the grass and then have an officer stop you and say now show me your phone.

You cant take NFL rules to real courts....thats why you get paid millions. Brady is above that..and he just might win. In fact, either Goodell thinks he has no chance of winning..or will certainly win by not budging. I cant see how the courts will find in the NFL'S favor if the courts cant get past this being over deflated footballs, no matter what Brady did after.

    Hope Im wrong.

lol so how are the Pat fans spinning this one? When Brady claims he destroys phones but had NOT destroyed his previous one?

Even if Brady gets his suspension overturned in court on a Johnnie Cochran-type technicality the damage is done now from a PR-standpoint outside of Boston. It's not so much that Brady committed the NFL version of jaywalking, it's the fact he tore up the ticket and ran away from the cop that makes him look like a jackass with something to hide. Pat fans cry this shouldn't be a big deal but YOUR ORGANIZATION made it a bigger deal than it ever had to be by bunkering down and trying to cover it up.

Guys, enough blaming Brady!!! Everyone destroys their own cell phones. It is a perfectly normal thing to do and doesn't look shady or fishy at all. Come on you haters!!!

And unless Kraft is in as much denial as the Pat fans here I wonder what he thinks now about it coming out that Brady acted like Ray Liotta in Goodfellas flushing coke down the toilet.

Brady will not appeal, but the NFLPA will.

They will get an injunction allowing Brady to play all 16 games.

Case will be heard sometime next year.

He didn't seem to care this came out. In hindsight maybe that's why the NFL dragged its feet as long as it did denying the appeal, they didn't want to sully Brady any further but since he didn't stand down both barrels are getting fired out now.

And Tom retires at the end of the season thus serving no punishment. The trial then literally becomes about nothing but clearing his name and the general public lose interest until it's HoF time.
