Not looking forward to being Brady's first home game. Hopefully he tires himself out in that primetime game against the Colts.

Well, I don't think upholding the suspension has anything to do with Roger Goodell's job so it's difficult to argue the rest. I think he upheld it to keep his job. But that he's going to take a battering in court.

He's just kicking the can of fate down the road. It's still gonna be what it's gonna be.

Mortonsen's report was in fact utter BS, but regardless, it had no bearing on what transpired after that. It's not like you can say a BS report erases everything else that came out after it.

Because the only justiciable issue at this point is whether or not the NFL violated the CBA in the way they handled it. There isn't going to be any re-investigation of the Wells Report.

They actually put in place measures to check the football. If they actually did it in the first place on any kind of consistent basis there would be nothing heading to court.

I am comfortable and confident, but I am not Mike Kensil. Don't act like a pathetic jackass with no self esteem and I won't ridicule you as such. Pretty simple.

Brady will win this case...if he decides to open himself up to it because a normal court of law OUTSIDE the NFL will look at this and say "he deflated what?" NFL loses almost all of their cases because judges look at judge/jury/executioner style of policing as an insult. None of it "fits" real society.

And guess what...they are right. BUT, thats why we watch it. Its not legal to go outside your house with a helmet on and take out your neighbor for his his newspaper by nailing him in the ribs...etc.

Any player that feels the need to cheat..then obstruct...then take it to a the court of law outside the NFL didnt know when he signed his multi million dollar contract that he signed up for the unusual. He signed up to be in a business from Mars. Fuck him...this is baby at its max.

Informed, not average, NEP fans accept this as true. If you choose not to, that's your prerogative.

I don't think you understand how this works. Go watch NFL Insider right now, Bill Polian and Adam Schefter are doing a great job of explaining it. The Supreme Court doesn't give a flying shit about whether or not Tom Brady deflated footballs, because deflating footballs is not illegal. The only thing they will rule upon is the PROCESS of Roger Goodell assigning and upholding the suspension in compliance with the CBA. The relationship between employer and employee, in accordance with the CBA they signed to regulate it, is the only matter the court cares about. As long as the appeal hearing was in accordance with the league's protocol, Brady will lose in court. Do you really think that federal court is going to hold a hearing on whether or not somebody took air pressure out of footballs? It doesn't matter if there's any concrete evidence of that anymore, that matter is over.

And the revelation that Brady destroyed evidence critical to his own appeal and the investigation will also work heavily against him in a court setting, since he's violating league investigation protocol by not only not complying, but taking proactive steps to inhibit the league.

They'll be solid, but there's no need to be afraid of the Pats this season. They're roster is weaker compared to last season and they have huge question marks on their defensive line and secondary. They didn't add a Welker or Moss to go on a historic run this season... they'll likely make the postseason, but we saw what happened last season when our DL got a hold if their OL. I don't think that Patriots secondary will keep uo with Dorsett, Hilton, Andre Johnson, Dwyane Allen, or Moncrief.

Not necessarily afraid of the Patriots themselves, but you know that Gilette is going to be absolutely exploding for Brady's return and he'll feed off of it.

And another lie: Tom Brady argued to the league that he "destroys all of his cell phones" (LOL) and the NFL found it to be bullshit by discovering that he didn't destroy the phone he used from spring of 2014 to November 2014.

Tom Brady told the NFL that he routinely destroys his cell phones. Holy shit, these one-liners are just so amazing. I love Deflategate.
