1. You are 100% correct. Consider yourself libeled. 2. I don't give a shit. I said what needed to be said and my presence is no longer appropriate, the season has started. Your pathetic ass needs to stay on another teams message board because the fans of the team you root for think you're a dipshit and apparently gave you the boot, and you are compelled to crusade against the Patriot fans of the world who spread disinformation... about football... for fuck's sake. Grow up asshole. Peace out GangGreen. Good luck this season, especially against NE. Hope we see you in the playoffs!
Mods. Can we get this Steelers internal feud erased from this thread. Really. Who on this board gives a shit about anything that was written on the last 2 pages by these 2-3 Steeler fans having a cat fight on our board???
Pats fan boy Mike Reiss reporting on Sal Palontonio's apparently incorrect story on owners putting pressure on Goodell is your rebuttal to the meticulous article written by Stephen Metcalf? Here is the scoop on Metcalf: Metcalf matriculated at Wesleyan University, later earning a master's degree from the University of Virginia. After spending some time working on a Ph.D. in the English graduate program at Yale University, he moved to New York where he worked as a speechwriter for Hillary Clintonand a freelance writer. Subsequently he joined Slate as a staff writer. He is Slate's "critic-at-large", writes the magazine's Dilettante column and serves as host of the magazine's culture podcast. Metcalf's work has appeared in The New York Times, The New York Observer and New York (magazine). What a hack. As an attorney, I can say that Metcalf's article is well researched and addresses the arguments against the suspension with facts. Here is Reiss' background from his own website: Mike Reiss first started reporting on the New England Patriots in 1997 for the team’s official newspaper and is now in his fourth season doing so for ESPNBoston.com. Having covered the team over parts of the last three decades, he is one of the leading voices when it comes to Patriots football. Mike is a lifelong New Englander, having grown up in Framingham, Mass., and later attending the University of Massachusetts-Amherst (BS Sports Management, 1997). After writing for Patriots Football Weekly and producing both written and video content for Patriots.com from 1997-1999, he worked as a reporter and assistant sports editor at the MetroWest Daily News from 1999-2005, before moving on to the Boston Globe as both a Patriots and NFL reporter (2005-2009). Reiss knows where his bread is buttered. If he knocks the Pats, he is toast. I trust Reiss to write an unbiased article about the Patriots about as much as I trust you to write one. Does he sit next to you at Pats games?
"as an attorney" As a not attorney, The Kraft Group referenced in your story from May, ain't the Krafts you think they are. The story I gave you a link to broke because of Sal Palantonio, it was repeated by Mike Reiss. He aggregated the news story. Aggregating means he took a story that wasn't his own, and distributed it. So the original story is Sal Palantonios. I look forward to your argument that he loves the patriots. And funniest of all is the denial of that clown who owns the Ravens who in his bitterest of existence doesn't want Goodell to let Brady go even though he knows they have no offense they can prove even happened and will lose in court. Hahaha, you have to see where this is going at this point. Falsely accusing someone for 6 months is about the only way to elevate him even higher than he began.
I I still don't see what Pat fan boy Reiss' reporting of Palentonio's report of owners reactions to a pending Goodell ruling has to do with all the evidence refuted point by point in the Metcalf story? OK . So maybe it was the wrong Kraft Group. What about the 15-20 other pieces of evidence? The deflated balls, the text messages, the balls in the bathroom, etc etc etc. You do realize the NFL does not need anything more than " more likely than not" to punish Brady?
Because the footballs were never consistently measured by the same gauge nor were they out of range, period. This thing only got off the ground due to a trigger happy press and a lot of wishful thinking from from the fans of the other 31. Nothing else matters. Patriots are definitely guilty of one thing, being incredibly good over the last 15. I get why you want Brady to get suspended and be thought of as some colossal cheater, but the truth always wins. And that's the pickle we find ourselves in today. Does the commish do what most of his fans want? Or does he reflect reality because if he doesn't on his own the courts will force him to? I can probably guess.
Different gauges is just legal bullshit. Do you expect the NFL to be perfect on every front during a game esp in an area they didn't expect to have an issue in.You can pick a hole in any argument and sometimes win with nothing at all. According to you guys if you weren't there, had sworn testimony or video tape of the entire occurrence there is no case against Brady. There is something called circumstantial evidence and there is plenty of it in this case. But again let Brady take it to court. I want to see him take the Fifth. If he lies under oath he's in big trouble. There's a federal jail cell in Leavenworth that another NFL player not too long ago was keeping warm for him.

Sounds like legal posturing by the NFL. Something should be announced this week though. NFL is a lawless circus.
If this goes to court, the issues are going to be whether the CBA was violated procedurally. Not whether or not you can prove the evidence set forth in the Wells Report is accurate or not. The gauges and measurements will never see the light of day if the NFLPA pushes this into court. Which isn't to say Brady won't prevail. But not because of any reason you find so compelling. By the way, you have a really, really , really small dick.
And this joker Chowd troll is doing EXACTLY what the article says-- taking singular pieces of the entire cheating scandal and trying to dismiss them independent of each other. They all fit together tied in one neat bow pointing to one and only one conclusion. Fucking cheating scumbags. Poof. _
