I used to watch the games with GG's mom and dad in Vegas, great people. They even gave my son a christmas present 2 years ago before they moved to South Florida. His dad is incredibly knowledgable and a great guy to watch the games with. Knows a ton about the game but they moved to Florida as it is much closer to Michael's (GG) daughter. From what they told me it might not be too long before she is posting here as she is quite the big Jets fan. Sadly my son has gravitated to the Bears.... why? I have no idea.
lol..one of my sons went the COLT way. We do the best we can...but Im pretty sure my oldest son..being a Jet fan of explosive outbursts..well....I will have some answering to do when the pearly gates fail to open. Helping to make one of your offspring's a Jet fan is, Im sure, a criminal felony up in some stratosphere. Hey..I tell my son this. I am a Ranger fan. Yes...we waited..and waited...and waited. Four years before my dad past, we celebrated a final faceoff (even though the icing that was called to allow several seconds on the clock was so fitting..and such bullshit) and the face-off happened...and my dad and I hugged and he cried in our house in New Jersey where I was raised. So...I tell my son all the time...when it comes..it rains fire from the sky..and the celebration will put all celebrations to shame. Quietly..what I fail to reveal to him...is that its getting late for his old man. Maybe 20? If im really lucky...25...30? Seasons left to get this done? Seems like an eternity but its coming baby....the big guy will be calling my name and yet I sit here and argue with a JUNC. Something is just not right with this picture.
During the regular season, he'll pop in on occasion. The man is busy with his life and career so, priorities prevail. We'll leave the light on for him.
