See Brady in court when he's under oath. Or does he take the 5th. PS take a poll of the entire country. How many think he told those attendants to deflate the balls?

There are multiple issues at play here. Kraft saying he'll respect the process then turning around and demanding an apology. The equipment manager not being made available for another interview. Brady refusing to turn over his phone. The history of cheating (admittedly mostly accusations). Brady swears up and down he is innocent then why is he withholding potential evidence? If he is 100% innocent i see no reason to not hand over a phone which exonerates him. If Kraft was so sure they wouldn't be found guilty why go on the offensive with the apology comment? They have shown nothing but contempt towards the league since day one. IMO if refusing to take a pee test is an admission of guilt to drug use (it is under the CBA and is an automatic 4 games) i don't see why making a mockery of this process isn't the same. Personally i think the ball tampering is minuscule and and had they said "yup we did it" and paid a fine it would be over with.

The Boston Globe football columnist was reporting on Sunday that if Brady loses his appeal he will seek an injunction in federal district court and that the issues will not be related to evidentiary problems with the Wells report, but rather with the NFL's implementation (and alleged violation) of the CBA during this process. Meaning that the text messages and missing locker room attendants will not be relevant and won't be introduced as evidence. Just a heads up.

I still think Goodell knocks it down to 2 games.

I bet you a million dollars of Bob Krafts' money and two draft picks that they don't know they can/will win this and its just been a circus show for the fans.

It's kind of amazing how the NFL has let their flagship franchise have this kind of crap hanging over their heads for a decade and never really called them out on it.

This is a business worth many of billions of dollars a year and they've let one franchise play fast and loose and generate tremendous negative spin for the enterprise. They really should make Kraft sell the franchise. He's bad for business for everybody else.

Kraft is bad for business? I think everybody in the ownership ranks is pretty happy with the ROI at the moment.

    Exactly.

This is what has been going on in the back room for quite a while. The owners are the ones directing the venom at Bob Krafty....why do you think Goodell had that sit down meeting with him before Kraft came out and said he wouldn't sue the league? THey are ready to dance on his face and do something to really blacken NE's eye. Remember there were many complaints to the league offices by many many teams for years over all their supposed doings on. The entire operation at 1 Esp Place is def one of hoodwinkery and not one of fair play especially with BB running the show

    Bugging locker rooms
    Kicking Balls
    Scoreboard shenanigans
    Spygate
    Deflategate
    Illegal Headset channels
    Interference with visiting teams communications
    loccker room spies....

it' can't be all fantasy now can it if many are complaining on their illicit tactics.

If Bob wanted to stay as an owner he needed to step off his swagger pulpit and that's what he did. He got a few fists to the noggin so to speak.

The brady stuff is all CBA skirting nonsense at this point. THE NFNPA really got screwed with their current mgt advice and they're just pissy they all signed off on it save 1 team.

I am expecting Goodell to exempt list Brady if he and his 'pop gun' muscle go the federal route. That will shut him up

    Kraft is bad for business?

He is the most influential owner in the NFL and has made them millions over the years.

Show me one of the other 31 (including Woody) owners who think he should sell the franchise.

    Guess what? There are none.

8 months ago i would not disagree with a single word you've said. i believe the way this thing has played out things have changed. i don't know if anyone believes he should sell but some of his influence has definitely been lost by all this.

You don't know didly squat on that, can you show otherwise?
Devil of who you can trust and who u can't

The 229 million per team share of the latest revenue figures that got out there via Green Bay chAnnels shows be owners are raking via TV deal. Yes Kraft helped orchestrate this with his butt buddy moonves. But this is the only thing Kraft can hang his hat on but the Cheating shit nullifies it in the long run

I'm not sure he is bad for business or he should sell the team (he's no Marge Schott or Donald Sterling) but I can remember reading how some owners were unhappy about this whole thing and the way he has conducted himself. I believe Arthur Blank was one of the more vocal but I can't seem to find the article now.

I think any drama not related to CTE is good drama for the NFL.

This whole off season could have been about retired young players or players walking out on the NFL... instead it's all deflated footballs and starting to resemble WWE.

Blame no one but your petulant qb and delusional chowds crying foul on the league when you got caught red handed after the owner group grew tired of you skating away for so long

I went the ignore button route a few days ago, even though I don't usually bother responding to him, and it has made the site a bunch more enjoyable. Takes just a little getting used to because as I read yours and Joe's replies I couldn't see what you were responding to and thought maybe you two were losing it. Like you it is also the first time using the ignore button for me.

I don't know how some P*ts fans can continue to ignore the truth that is right in front of them. To keep up the delusional "Halftime locker room footballs were within the expected range" just makes me question the sanity of some of them.
