And in my opinion, they looked AWFUL!!! I HATED those unis, especially after getting rid of those great kelly green ones.
I say no to the black uniforms. I think the Eagles alternate with the black and it looks terrible mixed with the green. I would also like an early eighties throwback, but I believe they can't do that due to the concussion rule where you have to wear the same helmet all year long.
it's been that way for a few seasons now. I think that's why the Jets haven't even worn the Titans throwbacks. Another example is why New England doesn't wear their throwbacks anymore.
I don't understand that rule at all. If anything, wearing the same helmet all season long could be more dangerous. If the helmets are made identically except for the color and/or logo that's on the outside, what is the difference? I'd like to hear that jerk Goodell justify that rule.
I really like the idea of classics throwbacks as well. It's a shame teams like the Bills and Rams can get away with it because they have the same color helmet, but the Jets can't do it. As much as I can't stand New England, they have pretty cool throwbacks.
Hmmm....never really put much thought into that except that it's just a football incorporated into the logo. Maybe signifying NY Football Jets? That's the logo I fell in love with as a kid, along with the unique pattern on the jersey sleeves, so I'll always be partial towards the old uni's
Not sure if this was posted yet, but Revis updated his twitter pro pic to this interestingly enough. I personally don't like this helmet but I wonder where it comes from.
It molds to your head and is safer the more you wear it. A helmet that fits properly would be a lot safer. It makes a lot of sense. It actually makes more sense than the rest of goodells bullshit and it protects the players without ruining the game.
I could definitely dig this, though I would prefer the majority of the helmet to be green with black and white.
Lazy fuck. Here are all of them. Some of them are craptastic. http://www.barstoolsports.com/chica...r-all-32-nfl-teams-and-theyre-pretty-awesome/ _
