Just waiting for Suicide Squad footage to come online, heard it was amazing. DC is killing it right now
Looks decent, although the only DC film that will probably be really good is the Batman being directed by Ben Affleck.
That trailer finally has me on board. Looks good. I love that they are taking the criticism from Man of Steel (too much damage to city) and putting it in the storyline from Bruce's view. Definitely has a look of a film that will set up many others.
I still don't have any faith in Snyder considering what a turd MoS was, but this trailer looks pretty damn good.
I think some of you guys need to calm down a little. It's not being released for a long time right?..
I hope that they never do Superman vs. Batman. There isn't enough kryptonite available to prevent Superman from attacking from a great distance. What is Batman going to fall back on, shark spray?
yeah, the one with the message "The jokes on you Batman" Sounds like Robin is dead and Joker killed him. Straight out of Canon, you know death by crowbar?
Yeah maybe Jason Todd - they will look to go the female route for Robin potentially. I like what DC is doing, the GL is going to be good as well.
Looks like Lex is going to try to set Batman and Superman against each other even more. Alfred will be the voice of reason. Yes, the expectation should not be a Nolan-quality Batman film. It should be a better than Man of Steel-quality film. Haha.
Wow. Idk why, but I thought it was a lot further down the road than that. I finally watched the trailer. It looks good. I've never watched a Superman movie, and TDK is the only Batman movie I've seen. So Idk if I would be lost.
Well, if you wanted to see it, you would be fine. Since this movie is really starting a new universe of films. Technically it started with Man of Steel in 2013, but it was a pretty bad movie. You could skip it and be fine. The new BvS trailer showed that it won't be a complete train wreck though, so that is nice. Although, they made Gotham and Metropolis sister cities. Separated by a bay. Terrible. Haha.
Are they based in different states originally or something? Why is it a bad idea? Sorry if these are dumb questions everyone should know.
Not a dumb question. It is different in different versions in the comics, but I don't think they should be that close. However, it makes sense for this story. If the cities were that close, why would Gotham even need Batman? Superman can just stop by in a second and take care of all the crime. They are trying to make it make sense by saying Batman has been on the job 20+ years before Superman showed up or whatever. No biggie. Just a small pet peeve I had with the new story.
That makes sense what you're getting at. They should be completely apart, but it does make sense for this movie. What about age? If he's already on the job 20 years longer than Superman, then does that mean he's like 50 at least? Lol
