I think they will eventually strip every win all time from the program.

 

I doubt they'll go that far. I think the Heels will get a pass when it comes to those dark days of the Matt Doherty era when only the die hard Heels fans 'stuck with them' through thick and thin.

great player but blames everyone else for his failures. should have been an NBA all star but instead is out of the league, when the investigation hinges on McCants testimony then you know UNC is not in big trouble.

 

You may question him being a name dropper, but he was a flopper.

 

it's very sad what he has done to himself, I still appreciate his play but he screwed himself.

 

Doherty's record should stay intact. He has some integrity. He wanted to make changes to the academic support system but was told specifically by Smith and Guthridge that he had to leave the academic advisors (with close ties to the AFAM studies program) alone and could only make changes to the coaching staff.

 

Matt was fired for good reason, it wasn't just the awful 2002 season.
