that is something different and I agree to an extent. he whines a lot, a lot of them do it though. Brady looks like a p**sy from the waterslide, the old hair, the dancing clip, the kick against Baltimore. there are plenty of incidents to bash him for looking like a pu**y

See, you have to be doing this on purpose. Altering balls is a minor issue? Is that your next troll introduction? That was not a big deal? Please try to refrain from things like "you have had to have played the game to know what your talking about" please....don't go there with me. That would be dumb. You have known me for over 10 years and I do not play that game or beat my chest. Never. Just go anywhere you want with your argument....just don't go there again. I can promise you I have spent more time on every field and court then you have dreamed of. I never go there...you made the assumption I have not. I can prove it...can you?

Deflating footballs gives a team a huge advantage. Could care less if every team does it. He got caught.

I'm not old enough to have seen Joe play.
Having said that, I find a great many parallels in the way people who were there talk about Broadway Joe and the way people who were there talk about Billy Sims or Terrell Davis. When either was on the field and healthy, he was as dominant as anybody has ever been. Those things just didn't happen often enough.

I'm just saying, how many QBs have received standing ovations for a failed comeback at an away stadium?

Thats the point. Totally the point. I would never sit here and say he was better then Manning....just like only a fool would say the Beatles were the best songwriters in their day....but boy oh boy...in their day? Joe's career numbers and what joe did in a small window...and in his youth...are twom different animals. Ask any team back then if they would have died to have him as their qb? Long line. So why attack the guy as a Jet fan...so you get the ....I'm nota bias fan award and where it like a hard on at let's say.....fin-heaven? Please....we all know what's this is all about.

a slight deflation of the ball is incredibly minor. if you think that's why they won I can't help you.

Omg ...junc... you need....I mean you did it again. Do you realize how bad of a problem that is? See...if this were my site...I would boot you. It would be for your own good too. I mean that.

WHERE DID I EVEN HINT THAT BY DEFLATING THE BALLS...they then could beat the Colts. Do you understand how sick that is to even try to use that line? You protect yourself by saying "if you think that's why they won" like I'm a fuckin idiot. You should have just called me a fuckin idiot. Don't put words in my mouth again junc...I'm telling you...do not do that again. Do we understand each other?

Brady deserves the 4 games because it was cheating. But it wasn't monumental enough to strip him of his rings. And probably other Qbs were doing the same thing although so far no major Qbs have been accused of doing it. Only him. As for being a pussy for screaming at the Refs. That's something if you've watched tape of games with real life sound many players are doing esp. Qbs. They scream and yell at the refs and try to intimidate them so they can get the calls their way. You think Joe Montana was such a nice guy on the field.

NE has been caught before, whether all teams do this stuff or not(and I believe every team looks for any advantage they can get) they have been caught numerous times. I believe if Russell Wilson was caught, Rodgers, Peyton or any of the other top guys were caught this would have blown over in 5 minutes. B/c it was the Pats it became a huge story then on top of that Brady clearly lied so it snowballed.

There's different kinds and variations of cheating but when you plan it out and have non football people involved in breaking the rules it's more serious than your standard everyday brand of cheating. Also in this case Brady and NEP brought the NFL millions of dollars of bad publicity during their keystone event of the season: the Super Bowl. Of course you see in every game all coaches and players covering their mouths when they talk about plays, etc. Because their belief is that opponents are hiring people to watch the game on TV (or at the game using binoculars), to lip read and text or call them with the information (against the rules). In other words cheating is kind of institutionalized in the NFL.

Great response......Joe would have benefited tremendously from 'Tommy John' surgery on his knees. Both of them.

If I could have ANY QB in their PRIME guide the NY Jets for next two seasons I'd go:

    Willie Joe Namath
    Aaron Rogers
    Tom Brady
    Joe Montana
    Dan Morino

    In that order.

There's 6 or 7 others grouped in Plan B, then everybody else. Except Geno Smith of course.

This is not on topic and I will not continue the discussion, if you'd like to open a new thread dedicated to it that's fine.

I will do whatever I want to do. don't tell me what to do.

How is Brady deflating balls a topic for this thread? You troll my post one more time? One more time. I'm asking you to think before trolling my posts. Have had it with you. The one good thing to come of it is to watch junc play nice with other posters after he is caught trolling. Saying things like "please stay on topic". Keep squirming junc....fin-heaven bullpen has asked you to start warming up. Now report me.

I'm sure that Joe Willie screamed and yelled at the refs and tried to intimidate them too. Although I don't recall seeing any tape of him doing this. It was a part of the game. Some of the coaches were unbelievable. Thats why I love Sound FX on the NFL Network.
