Im PRIME (Student), ARE YOU? https://www.theverge.com/2015/7/6/8899669/amazon-prime-day-bigger-than-black-friday-20th-birthday To celebrate its 20th birthday, Amazon is introducing Prime Day, a "global shopping event" that the retail giant says will offer more deals than Black Friday. The deals will become available at midnight ET on July 15th, but will only be available to Amazon Prime customers in the US, the UK, Spain, Japan, Italy, Germany, France, Canada, and Austria. Amazon says new deals will be introduced as fast as every 10 minutes, and will come from every product category, from clothing to electronics. The new promotion appears to be part of Amazon's ongoing attempt to drive regular shoppers toward Prime membership, having last month expanded its same-day rapid-delivery service Prime Now outside the US. According to Consumer Intelligence Research Partners, Prime customers spend more than double the average amount than standard Amazon customers in a year — $1,500, compared to non-members' $625. But to get access to Prime Day, you won't necessarily have to pay up for a Prime subscription — you can sign up for a free 30-day Prime membership prior to July 15th and still get access to the offers.
I'm a prime student too. I’m hoping for some deals on ddr4 ram, hard drive, and even though I just bought a Logitech Harmony 650 for 38 bucks on ebay that an older model. If they have good prices on the newer Logitech Harmony remotes I think I’d buy it.
Been prime for a couple years now and love it...the amount I save on shipping alone along with very competitive pricing and add to that the videos and that they have some songs available for free listening... pffft.. no brainer.

I'm thinking the same thing about the TV. I've got my eye on this right now: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...3ASC2JKOY12IX&psc=1&ref_=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl It supposedly has the lowest tested input lag of any TV in that range, which is great for gaming. I'm hoping there's a nice discount on that tomorrow, though I'll be keeping an eye out for other deals too.
I wasn't buying it for the 3D, just the low input lag and the sub 1K price. 3D TVs aren't constantly in 3D mode, are they? Can that be shut off? Or should I be looking for a different TV entirely?
I pulled the trigger too early. Not sure its actually 3D. I'd try too look for one without the 3D stamped on it and the SMART TV Stamp. IT will be cheaper. Usually the SMART TV UI suck and doesnt get updated frequently so you'd better off just buying a roku/fire tv stick/chromecast ADDON and plugging it into the T.V.
