You realize there are 1000s of things to do in NY and NJ that are better than anything in Nebraska, right? There's a thread on it. _
The population of NJ is overridden, intermarried with former NYers and they are happy to be there . I grew up in Brookyn , lived in SI for a while then I raised my kids, family in central Jersey. Not once did ever hear a put down of NYers or vica versa. Its been great. Yes NYers are smart but so are people in LA, Chi, etc. The pushiness, loudness, and overwhelming personalities well I guess you take the good and the bad.
From Philly raised I south jersey. The mason dixon line runs through salem country.....or so youd think down here. I like jersey...youre never too far from anything you need. Highways make everything nice and accessible. Plus nj is the only state whos traffic patterns make any fucking sense. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
Important. Be a Buckeye. Flee the corrupt communist northwest. We can get together, and watch the games @BDubs
Can't even make a left turn in Jersey. WTF is that all about? And you can't pump your own gas either. Talk about two blatent infringements of god given rights .someone should contact the ACLU. I think it was in the constitution, bill of rights or some shit (right after the right to bear arms).. actually here it is, word for word from our forefathers in the Bill of Rights: 1 ) "Congress (or state DOT, jersey I'm looking at you) shall make no law establishing weird so-called 'jughandles' with signs so small that everyone misses them and curses the state on their way back to NY" 2) "The right to pump one's own gas shall not be infringed. Not only does it insult ones intelligence but it puts one in the awkward position of not knowing whether to tip the attendant or not, especially after waiting too long to receive such services" having said all that it still beats the shit out of Nebraska
WTF is it with Ohio and their state pride? My old lady is originally from there and my god kill me with the "well its not like that in Ohio.....[something bad]" "[something good] is not as good as in Ohio.. " nearly every day for 10 years.... even the mother in law, "well that's why you guys should live here in Ohio...." I gotta say I don't see it. Seems kinda like a normal/boring/generic place to me. I even like Jersey a lot more
Born in NY, spent my early childhood there. Grew up in NJ, did some college in NY, then Philly. Lived in Europe for 4 years but have spent most of the last 15 years in the Philly area. What I've learned as I've gotten older is NJ is a great state. Within 2 hours of two great cities plus Atlantic City, also great beaches.
