    We never wore white cleats until senior year in HS. 1977.

    I remember my first pair of white SpotBilt baseball cleats with real metal cleats.

    Geez loved those cleats.

    Joe, in hindsight I'll always lament the Byers fumble and that kickoff. . Also, that was knock on Victor Green...would bite on the play action. It made me sick when he came on it... totally comitted....

    From what I've read, and heard on TV, Philbin was a great player...maybe HOF caliber?

    There's an interview out there with him about Namath.... He basically said Joe squandered his talent early in his career with his partying, debauchery, and drinking. But he said Joe got serious and that's when things came together for them.

    Joe was prolly an alcoholic before the SB early on
