I bet they will find out this little freak researched the history of this church and knew who was connected with it to make a statement. I mean, really, what do you expect a cop to do in that situation, leave it in his holster? Nobody was in danger of getting shot, unless they were stupid enough not to run away, in which case, frankly, I think they would have deserved it. Not that I disagree with your larger point about the assumption of the use of unnecessary force in the apprehension if the perp were black, mind you.
