Every year there always seems to be 1 player that isn't widely known that makes a name. Who do you think that player will be for the Jets this year? We all here obv know the entire roster, so this is in terms of as viewed by the overall NFL. First 2 round draft picks this year do not count. Go. Mine is IK.
Pryor is known but right now he's looked at as a bust..which is ridiculous. I think he turns into a stud this year playing where he belongs and in an elite secondary
My long shot surprise. Milliner. He will shock those who claim him an absolute bust and turn out to be a terror by mid season. Revis and Milliner will be the best one-two combo in the league. This secondary will absolutely rock, with depth and talent, including Cro and McDougle, Pryor and the like.
On offense, I hope it's Amaro. On defense, Demario Davis. Our LB corps is a lot better than we think it is, especially at ILB.
I think Rontez Miles is going to steal time from someone... especially if Gilchrist isn't healthy to start the season. He's not going to be a surprise, but I think Skrine is going to be one of the most underrated guys of this season. Granted, his job is pretty easy (so to speak) but he's not going to get anywhere near as much recognition as he should playing with Cro and Revis.
Can't say Pryor or Amaro, they shouldn't be surprises and they should be due big years. Marcus Williams was the guy last year that came out of nowhere. I'd probably go McDougle if not for the crazy depth at CB but to do something really big we would have to suffer some injuries to the guys ahead of him. So I'll go with a guy that might not even make the squad.. Rontez Miles. Wild cards - Brent Qvale and Wes Saxton.
Assuming he's even healthy by midseason. His health is likely a huge reason why Cromartie was brought back.
