Cash is not the issue, the issue is wanting to play there. If Talbot wants to play in Toronto or Detroit he's not signing any extension in Edmonton even if they offer him a premium. That makes him less valuable as a trade chip in that market
Matt, do you have any insight on if the guys in the Ranger locker room mess with the padding in the helmets? People on another board are claiming that NHL players like to remove some of that padding, and obviously if Zuccs did that it could have made his injury worse
