Why are you hung up on masturbation? It's well known that masturbation is a normal part of adolescence, but that continued masturbation into adulthood is a sign of psychological problems. Everybody knows this.

I could post pages of links, but I would probably just be wasting my time, because overgrown adolescents will just keep dismissing the facts so they can continue to whack off in their parent's basement lol.

You obviously never went to Catholic School, and were probably never properly educated in Church teaching.

Of course the Catholic Church publicly admits its wrongdoing in the Priest abuse scandal, and the Church has never suggested that those Priests were falsely accused. This is my theory. I think the Church could never come out and claim that any of the allegations were bogus, because then they would be accused of trying to cover for their own. Regardless of what Church officials know or don't know, they are forced to obey the powers that be. And the powers that be, today, are those in the media who claim to be "politically correct"; of course what that means is that their narrow viewpoint is "correct", and anybody who does not agree with their crazy far left propaganda is branded as being "not politically correct". So it is OK to slander the Catholic Church, and post hateful comments like those in this thread, but god forbid if anyone says anything bad about other groups or religions.

And it's been proven that the issue has nothing to do with whether Priests are married or not; that myth has been disproven long ago. The real issue is the sexual saturation our society has shamefully sunk to. The "Sexual Revolution" which sounded so innocent when it began with the hippy kids in the 1960's has had so many serious side effects, and it's this erosion of common sense sexual morality that has led to the decline of our society. History has proven that when the morals of a civilization become eroded, the decline and fall of that civilization is not far behind. Maybe it's our embarrasingly bad public school system that has led to the dumbing down of society, and a generation of overgrown adolescents who call themselves adults.

 

And to respond to maybe the most ridiculous post I've seen (which is saying something given some of the doozies in this thread!)....I don't even want to dignify the post by quoting it, but someone actually questioned the unique and world-changing life that Jesus Christ lived; the earth-shattering, history-altering effect that only God Himself could ever hope to cause....

Civilizations have come and gone, there have been countless messianic figures who have all been long forgotten, and yet the Bible remains the best-selling book of all time, and it's not even close! Even non-religious people recognize the historical significance of the Bible. Jesus Christ has had a larger effect on the history of the world than all other people combined, his miracles and the ultimate sign of his divinity, his Resurrection from the Dead, have changed the lives of countless Trillions of people around the world since. There is even well-known scientific evidence that has emerged today for the historical accuracy of Jesus' Resurrection, as reported on CNN.

To think that a stupid hoax could have caused all of that is, well, naive is too kind a term. Ridiculous beyond belief to try to minimize this, and attempt to re-write history. But I guess there will always be a handful of clowns who continue to try to do that.

Of course....we all agree with that. But you took a small sliver of my post and ignored the rest. Does that mean you agree with the rest of what I said, or that you can't argue with it? The Catholic Church, btw, is the only institution left on earth defending sexual morality and responsibility. If it wasn't for the Catholic Church, "fucking children" would probably be considered a "choice" by now, just like killing babies is. Sad but true. And the Catholic Church is making great strides in combating the evil of abortion; thanks to their continued efforts, there are now "ability to feel pain" laws on the books stopping abortionists from torturing babies while killing them, at least for those that can feel pain. If it wasn't for the Catholic Church defending human rights, who knows how much more abuse would be going on today. But you conveniently ignore all of that, all of the great things the Catholic Church continues to do in the world, and just focus on the handful of alleged abuse cases from years ago. The influence of the devil on the world should not be underestimated. There's a reason he's called "the father of lies". Just look at all of the disgusting lies being spewed in this thread.
