I don't want to get reported again by the big baby so I'll let him get the last word in as is his childish compulsion. _
Junc thinks were thugs apparently. Internet police don't tolerate thugs on their website. I would be careful. Just stay in bed, don't post at all.
yep, when you reply it's ok but when I do it's "getting the last word in". at least I am not the size of a small child.
so "rarely" or otherwise, what you're saying is that you actually report people? Whatever, I appreciate your candor. Agreed.
Did junc catch a permaban? If so...it's about time. No more threads derailed because of a passing mention of Sanchez or Peyton
No way. He probably just went on vacation. I'm fairly certain this is a wage earning vocational activity for him. Not kidding.
I thought so too at first but check this out: http://forums.theganggreen.com/thre...ilkerson-for-rivers.84270/page-9#post-3259453
Damn. No way to treat one of our best posters. I still believe this is a paying gig for him. He only posts during regular business hours and never on weekends. Let us know if he's still posting on that finhomo site where he's got like 25000 posts.
I have suspected that too. As for finheaven...I don't post there. The site sucks and most of the posters do too
junc was one of the worst posters ever. Even having him on ignore was a problem since he was an insistent thread derailer. I am aware he had a couple of defenders here. But to me he added nothing, meaning nothing good.
My pet theory for a long time was that junc was a UNC AI project designed to mimic a human troll poster. He's got all of the characteristics of a repetitive sentence-mashing program designed to pick up on certain keywords and then run a set of a few subroutines (defend keyword, bash opponent, randomly change to a semi-related topic when he's getting too many responses) until the thread dies down again. You're right about the work day thing though. An AI routine would probably have a much wider range of permissible intervention points. The really strange thing given his voluminous posting history is that I can't think of a single thread that he started. I'm sure they're out there but he basically just responds to other people. This plays into both of our pet theories. Here's a thought though: if he is an AI troll then his minders would likely prefer him to post only when somebody was guaranteed to be in the office and able to easily reset him. This would prevent an epic meltdown if the code went off the tracks, by running into another AI as an example. They wouldn't want their baby to get banned due to a bug. Online alerts would help but only if the people receiving them weren't in a cabin in Maine on vacation or some such.
Yup. The ignore feature on the new board works great except in the case of junk where he consistently has people responding to his nonsense. Either way threads because unreadable when he's involved. Probably one of the more accomplished trolls the internet has ever seen.
