After going through all of that im sure they most likely will not go back in without a fight.

And with a huge reward like this the bounty hunters must be all over NY right now.

that's a nice prize there. can't imagine anyone is going to help hide them at that price.

they should put out a dead or alive poster

You gotta respect the planning on this though. Kinda like a well executed jewelry heist. 100grand is a lot of cash. Those two guys should be in Canada by now if they're smart.

they should raise it up a bit. I finally looked into the story and OBVIOUSLY they had help and most likely still receiving help.

I dont know their backgrounds but they are clearly more valuable than the reward given out for them.

I'm not sure they wouldn't be extradited from Canada, if they were smart they'd be in some place that allows them to buy residency like the Philippines. As long as I was willing to pay them they'd let me stay even without work.

However if one was to go to Canada I would think small town in Nunavut or Newfoundland would work quite well.

The prison is so far north that I'm pretty sure they could find a route into Canada without much problem. I think they're getting help too but 100K has a way of changing people's loyalties.

    Not exactly the Shawshank Redemption.

These guys kill and could kill again.

I think they had help on the inside.

I also think the authorities have some idea who they are being protected by. $100k, yeah, its real money, but its kind of like the price point where you roll over on your homeboy just broke out of prison, if you ask me. Not enough to get me and my posse to go out looking or random shit.

There's now a report of a possible sighting in Philly and another one that they found traces of food and a spot where the two supposedly slept in the woods.

well I guess now they'll finally remove female guards from male prisons? Na!

I'm just assuming of course she was blowing both of them and happened to fall in "love" to risk her life for them to escape.

But then again how would a guard know where to drill and which direction one would take to exit onto the streets?

Exactly. They would need structural plans, guard patrol timing, a map of the nearby area, and then plan and execute an viable escape route. Of course, there's always "Plan B" which I'm sure they had in place. These two guys may be murderers, but they're certainly not stupid.

Maybe they had a friend working there as a contractor who supplied them with the structural info. They didn't really need the guard patrol timing, as they did all of their wall/pipe cutting during daytime while they were allowed to freely roam around their "honor" block. I assume the only thing they had to cut on the night they escaped was the lock on the manhole. The manhole was not visible from any watch towers, as clearly seen on the map below. So, it probably took them an hour at most to get from their cells to the street, which means they had a 6-hour head start. One
could walk to Canada from there in 6 hours.
