Joe Horn's life after football doesn't involve color commentary or a radio show -- he's making barbecue sauce. This culinary endeavor doesn't preclude him from having feelings about the NFL, and the former Saints receiver opened up with both barrels on NFL commissioner Roger Goodell in an interview with TheFootballGirl.com.

"Here’s what I don’t like. I don’t like what Roger Goodell is doing. He has so much power that he can almost shut people down. I just don’t like him. And I don’t like that on draft day these kids don’t know that they’re hugging the devil. I hate to see kids that are lost and then happy but they really don’t know that the man they’re hugging will rip their throat apart. If he has an opportunity to take money from them, or there’s a situation where they’re guilty before they go to court, he’ll rip them apart. And there’s nothing no one can do about it. If the owners are happy with Roger Goodell, the fans, the media, no one can take his job from him. I hate it."

    HUGGING THE DEVIL!
Not only is Goodell the devil, but he'll rip your throat apart. Not rip it out, he'll tear it into tiny pieces. Let this be a lesson for all NFL draftees.

I loved that time Joe Horn pulled out a cell phone to celebrate a touchdown.

I hate Goodell as much as anyone for what he's done and doing to a great sport , but there's no difference between him and many other douchebags in an array of other professions.

If he's the "devil" then most CEO's and lawyers and doctors are also devils.

Not surprising though that a player is going this route instead of stating the obvious and thats 95 percent of the players in the NFL are flat out stupid , bad with money , too trusting to their "yes men" and bad investors. Those are the reasons they wind up broke.
