I think he's better than MSL but he's ancient too, Poe

First thing we need to do in offseason is trade talbot. But our cap situation sucks I believe so thT might be picks coming back instead of a goal scorer

    Pre free agency I'd go

    Nash-Brass-Zucc
    Kreider-Step-Fast
    Hags-Hayes-Miller
    Glass-Moore-

    Mac-G
    Staal-Klein
    Yandle-Hunwick

Dump MSL and Boyle. Keep Hunwick as 7th guy once a rookie hopefully Skjei comes up. Mcilrath seems to be a failure for the most part. Didn't see much from Allen.

Find a 4th line wing to go with Glass/Moore or cut the costs with both and go young in Lindberg, Borque, and whoever really.

Won't throw any FA's in the mix yet because it all depends on the cap.

Fuckin' Mcilrath is exactly what we need a 6'5" monster who clears the front, as the 6th dman, but unfortunately he's a stiff...4th line played well together Glass- Dom Moore- Shep

Guys in free agency I like:

    Justin Williams
    Joel Ward
    Michael Frolik

Williams is 34 but he has the killer instinct on offense that can take this team to the next level. Dude is a player in the playoffs

We have to bring him up now because if we dont we lose his rights and he can become a free agent. Remember we drafted him in 2010

Wouldn't mind Williams at all. Would be a solid replacement for MSL. Plus, he may come at a bit of lesser cap hit than MSL's $5 million.

You are out of your mind. Name a forward on this team that is a better penalty killer?

Still, the Callahan - MSL trade turned out to be a Gangbuster considering that MSL scored in THIS SEASON (1) as many playoff goals Callahan has in his career.

Plus - the Rangers will get SIX MILLION on the cap by letting this contract expire.

    No brainer - good trade.

Tampa went 35% on the fuckin PK against us so I'm not really impressed with any of our penalty killers. He scored that goal against Pittsburgh and then he disappeared for a month. Fuck him dude.

tough pill to swallow friday night. 3 home losses, and didnt even score for henrik in the last 2.
thats soft people. this team lost its look of the regular season in the first round against the penguins.
they couldnt score against them and that defense was ravaged. well, what can you fuckin' do, the better team won,
and there should be no illusions going on about that whatsoever.

8 years at the 5.75 M per year Callahan would not let fall to 5.35M, means another 46M of non-tradable money off the cap. Good riddence captain greedy.

Yeah, I am not mad about the trade as most are...His cap is ferocious and long. Marty clears space for us and we HAVE to resign our core guys (Stepan, Miller, Fast)
