Like the feel good sentiments about last night BQExpressway……however, let's be honest: last night Tampa Bay could've easily been up 4-1 as the Rangers were clearly outplayed in the 1st period. In addition, Tampa Bay pretty much dominated the the 2nd period and could've buried an additional pair of goals as well if not for Hank. Last night was a great, needed win. But at the same tiime, while the Lighting & Bishop were not at their Sunday best, it was hardly (in know-it-all juncesque "average fan" parlance) a 5-1 'dominant' performance.

Tampa could also be down 3-1, we lost In ot, the other game they won 3-2 in the 3rd and Nash could have tied it with a shorthanded breakaway, not exactly dominating, their goalie has given us 3 huge weaknesses side to side, above his blocker, no big game experience...LGR! well, his numbers are very good so I cannot imagine im the first one who has picked up on this. perhaps he just looks slow now at the end of a long season? I really don't know but not only is he slow as balls moving side to side, he seems to get lost as to where he is in the net as well........maybe he just had a couple bad games. I don't know but watching this guy now and then listening to everyone tell me how good he is does not match up.

King Henry needs to pitch a shutout in game 6. He's the best player on the team. I'm not blaming him for the game 5 loss but he needs to win this one for us... Let's go fellas. GutCheck time

Stating the obvious, it seems it's impossible to get a handle on this series which leads to the belief that the Rangers could pull off another improbable road win and turn it into a one-game winner take all affair. That said, losing one game is one thing, but two out of three at home is sure as hell not getting it done.
Our PP was the turning point. We had possession and we were skating well and then we blew 4 PPs and game over. How bad was Brassard tonight? Oof. Where has Hagelin been? He's been missing since he won Pitt series. We are not coming back fellas. We all know this. Very tough to get back to the finals. Fuck.
Tampa was in the exact position the rangers are in against Detroit in round 1. Tampa got shut out at home to fall behind 2-3 then won in Detroit game 6 and won game 7 at home.
Need a stronh team performance, we need to attack the net with fury. We know that tampa will be hyped and will come out aggressive. Hope we get the 1st goal.
