Wilkerson will show up the minute he can start getting fined for not showing up. The defense as currently built is insane. This is a great opportunity for Wilkerson to pad his stats. Having a monster statistical year will get him paid as a top 3 player at his position. Contract year for him, and he's optimally set up to take advantage. He'll be there.
Yes I read that Cimini article too and he doesn't even cite a source for where he got that number. I'm not saying it's wrong but it would be nice if he could let us know where he got it
Actually, according to http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/cap/ We have $6,587,529. Rich could be wrong unless there was a transaction in between. Spotrac should have a time-stamp as to when they update the team cap space
I would pay wilk 8-10 mil per..... if it will take 12-14 per and thats all he will take id look to move him, hes not worth 12-14 mil per.
It is pretty close to what I had calculated previously and is right near what Spotrac had calculated. Not saying either are correct but I think it has to be pretty close.
