Per Chan Gailey - Barring injury, Geno is Week 1 starter

Did the CS make the right decision regarding Geno

  1. Yes - Geno was the only viable option at Qb so why not name his the starter and be done.

    As long as Bowles has a quicker hook to take out Geno if he sucks, I am fine with Geno starting. I give him 2 reg season games before he is demoted to 3rd string behind Fitzpatrick/Simms/Petty.

    Its a great decision by Bowles and Gailey. Why run a fake QB competition like last year? Let Geno have ALL the #1 reps to prepare him for the season and let the chips fall from there. If he plays poorly he will get pulled.

    The Geno hate on this board is ridiculous. The guy will bean Elite QB one day.

    by teh way we did add a receiver or two last yr
    in what bizzaro world people ran Sanchez out of town for being better the Geno where were the people stopping that hate?
    Please Geno hate is well deserved and warranted he sucked ass last yr so you cant pretend that did not happen

    I knew it was trouble bring old Chan Gailey onboard. This goes against all that Macagnan and Bowles spoke about...competition at all spots. This is depressing.

    I know even geno has to be saying huh? Did you not see my game film last year. I don't get the logic behing this but I hope they have a quick hook.

    Especially when the new regime has no alliance to any of Idzik guys. They had a built in mulligan to dump Geno and start fresh. Now you still have some stink hold over from the Idzik ERROR.

    You know there must a few standard deviations difference in IQ between Fitz and Geno. My new theory is that Fitz is also way too smarter than that rockhead CG. So Chan prefers Smith so he can be a part of Dumb and Dumber
