Poe, you just reminded me of MSL's other blunder on Hags cross ice pass from 5 feet in front missed the fuckin' net, inexcusable

How did the Lightning score 6 goals last night? Are they that much better than the Caps, who scored 12 goals in 7 games vs. Lundqvist?

It was just one of those games. I don't know why we suck so bad in game 2's but we need to at least split the games in Tampa.

Rangers played an extremely aggressive game on offense and pinched their d-men in alot and that resulted in odd man rushes and terrible puck handling.

Dudes were falling all over the ice and we had a string of penalties back to back.

They scored on our 5 on 3
    They scored on a 4 on 3
    Another powerplay
A deflected shot (this one was good)
    bad giveaways

Lundqvist and the whole team was not sharp.

I know, but Habs also had a bad 6-2 loss too...We can recover, but the bad juju of Martin St. Louis playing like a dumbass is so ironic. We need him to show up with great play

This is so painful for me. When the Rangers received Martin St. Louis after Ryan Callahan quit the team, I was ecstatic. Even with the loss of draft picks, I thought the Rangers got a absolute steal. Sure, St. Louis was at the end of his career, but he was a GOAL-SCORER, which was something the Rangers were sorely missing. Last year, he scored more playoff goals than Nash and Richards combined. He and Lundqvist carried this team to the Stanley Cup finals.

Watching him in the playoffs this year has been brutal. He has aged 10 years this year, and 5 years in the past month alone. He is slow, awkward, and just not making smart plats. He is panicking and has zero confidence in himself. I feel like I am watching Muhammad Ali box Larry Holmes.

I have so much respect for Martin St. Louis, but if he does not have an immediate turnaround, he is DONE as a New York Ranger. He should retire. It kills me to say this, because this moment is STILL among my all time favorite in New York Rangers History:

At least a huge SIX MILLION will come off the salary cap for next season as a result of the trade.

He should be sitting, insert a high energy guy like Bourque and if he keeps playing like this he will sit when Zucc comes back

If Richards could be benched, so can he.

Put up or shut up, no time for sympathy, the objective is winning at all costs...I would put the kid in or move MSL down and let Miller move up

I think tonight is as close to a must win as an elimination game.

It would help our pyschy if we win, we only need to take 1 of 2 in Bolt Country, we are certainly capable of taking both, as we play much more disciplined on the road

It just scares me that they are the best home team in the league, even though we are the best road team. If we go down 2-1 I don't see us winning game 4.

As I have been saying all offseason, these guys need to stop going side to side in power plays. Stop trying to make the perfect pass. Attack the net.. Hope for a rebound and finish. We are man up on PPs..someone will be unmarked and have a lane at a loose puck..

Rangers got this, they're going to be on Johnson like a fly on shit and Lundqvist is going to shut them down. The only question is how much offense shows up, I'm calling this one a 3-0 shutout

PP is a disaster as always, giving up a shorthanded breakaway goal when you have a 5-3 PP is a disgrace...if we had a decent PP, we'd have a much easier time in all these series but we're the Rangers
