I don't know the answer to this, but I seriously doubt it.

yeah that's a genuine question which i don't know the answer to either.

could these guys be forced to testify in court? does anyone know?

that could determine what strategy they use to fight this, and ultimately how far Br*dy is willing to push it.

Whatever happens at the appeal before Goodell is not in court and I doubt is considered as being testimony under oath subjecting someone to perjury charges.

If Brady sues in federal district court, which has been suggested, he could be compelled to testify. But he probably won't do that.

You're still on that cold weather psi crap that Kraft's paid for scientist affirmed while almost everyone else said it's horseshit science. The whole thing with NEP is that they want to write their own science and rules and totally disregard all of the evidence that disproves their case.Kraft's anti Wells Report report of a few days ago was a crock of shit and this basically confirms it. He's not pursuing this only because he has no case.

the bolded is what i am asking.
the answers he gave Wells would of course not warrant a perjury. i'm not suggesting that.

taking it to federal court is the only way Br*dy and the NFLPA can win this (short of Goddell folding).
but if he takes this to federal court, could hew be compelled to testify?
anything he states, or the ball boys state, at that point could get them in hot water if its not true.

i think if the judge were to compel any of those guys to testify, the case would get quickly dropped.
there is no evasive answering, vague lying, or smirky responses which can be given at that point.....at least not without potential consequences.

I am sure Kraft doesn't want any more coming out than already has. That and he knows they are guilty as shit like they have always been. I wonder when he is going to apologize, I wouldn't want to miss that.

He's still waiting for the Poof. There is no real Poof that the Patriots ever did anything.

Like Kraft you're only going to believe what you want to believe. Even though the NFL commissioned a well respected investigator in Wells (who Kraft and the union had no problems with when he was announced). And the guy gave it 4 months. And your team calls him the liar and the cheater. As for the psi: the cold weather wasn't a factor. Kraft's scientist is on his payroll.

Get back to me when Buck Frady sits out 4 games.

It smells to me like Kraft cut a deal, and his acceptance is going to get Brady's suspension cut in half.

    AND....

Goodell will probably defer his decisiontill 9/11.

Pats open the season 9/10 against Pitt at home. Then they have 10 days off and TRAVEL to Buffalo, then Jax at home, and the Bye.

I'm a criminal defense lawyer, not an employment lawyer. I have employees though, does that count?
