I heard about this yesterday, 5 biker gangs involved (Bandidos, Cossacks, Gypsies, Scimitars, not sure about the 5th), 9 dead, 18 injured, 170+ arrests made and 100 weapons recovered. This is just like out of a movie, bikers ere brawling inside a Twin Peaks bathroom then it spilled into the restaurant and turned into a knife fight that spilled into the parking lot and turned into a gunfight. Then the cops showed up and got into a gunfight with the gangs http://www.cnn.com/2015/05/17/us/texas-shooting/ CNN)Gunfire erupted Sunday among rival biker gangs in Waco, Texas, leaving at least nine people dead, according to police. Authorities had anticipated trouble and pre-positioned officers. "There were at least three rival gang groups here this morning for whatever reason. As they were here, we had officers on scene. We expected issues," said Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton, a police spokesman. He later said there were at least five gangs. The fight broke out at Twin Peaks restaurant and spilled into the parking lot. It quickly escalated from hands and feet, as weapons, to gunfire, Swanton said. "In my nearly 35 years of law enforcement experience," he said, "this is the most violent and gruesome scene that I have dealt with." Bikers shot at each other and at officers, who returned fire. Swanton expressed anger at Twin Peaks, which he claims had been less than helpful in dealing with gangs in the past. He declined to identify the specific groups involved in Sunday's shooting. "Are we frustrated? Sure. Because we feel like there may have been more that could have been done by a business to prevent this," he said. Corporate management at Twin Peaks released a statement saying it was reviewing the circumstances of the shooting. The Waco restaurant is franchised. "We are thankful no employees, guests or police were injured in this senseless violence outside the restaurant, and our sympathies are with the families of those killed," the statement said. To escape the fight, some restaurant customers and employees took cover in the freezer, according to CNN affiliate KWTX. The station reported that more than 100 weapons were recovered, and Waco police said officers were continuing to arrest people arriving with weapons. Swanton told reporters that eight people were dead on the scene and another was pronounced dead at an area hospital. A total of 18 people were taken to the hospital. It was not immediately clear whether that figure included the person who died. All those injured or dead are believed to be bikers. No officers were hurt, Swanton said, praising their response. "Their action has saved lives in keeping this from spilling into a very busy Sunday morning," the spokesman said. "Thank goodness the officers were here, and took the action that they needed to take to save numerous lives."
Oh wow, didn't know they were firing at cops too. Hopefully no one innocent was killed. Here is them after the brawl, I believe. Man interesting they were shooting at cops and the aftermath shows them all sitting there as if nothing happened.
9 dead over-grown child cowards who masquerade around in their adorable little patch-covered costumes and their cute little neck tattoos, who put on fake-ass tough guy personas and only fight in packs against outnumbered opponents? ...good.
Gladly if I could find one to suppress their insecuries long enough to be alone and unarmed. We both know that wouldn't happen though.
What kind of bikers shoot each other? The bikers around where I grew up just had rallies, cooked crank and ran occasional trains on their old ladies...... nothing wrong with that.
You don't know Texas biker gangs then. One of the gangs involved in the shooting is the Bandidos, they work with the Mexican cartels to run the drug trade and they are everywhere
If I was there, there'd be 160 dead bikers and I'd have 100 new guns. Probably a few new bitches too.
If that happened, they should have stayed home - they wouldn't be dead But seriously, imagine if the people shooting those guns were black ... tell you one thing, they wouldn't be fiddling with their cell phone hanging on the curb talking to cops. But that's none of my business.
Yeah. I grew up in the NW when most of the local drug trade were just old hippy acid cooks and loosely officiated Hello Angels chapters who came up from California. And while Oregon and Washington do have gangs officiated with the Mexican Mafia. The local government have taken a powder.
