This is just asinine, he didn't "fail" he might not have won the Super Bowl but he took the team to the playoffs and was fired after they didn't make the playoffs the following year and had to deal with the ridiculous turmoil of the snake oil salesman Art Modell upping the team and moving them to Baltimore.

(Even the insane comparison of Brady to Saddam Hussein) Mostly clouded by their hatred of NEP. Wouldn't you have loved to hire Shula in the '80's even though he cheated and snookered the Jets in the Mud Bowl. What a decade it could have been. Guys have always been taking cheap shots at players when the refs aren't looking. Kicking a guy in the nuts and then calling their number on the very next play. In other words taking an illegal advantage. btw enemies of the Jets like Jason Taylor who fanned flames over the years by talking trash against the fans and the team weren't unwelcome when then signed here.
