I would assume, at a minimum, he would have to provide the materials that he previously refused to provide. Doesn't make sense that he could hinder and investigation and then appeal the decision with no repurcussions for his hindering of the investigation. If nothing else I suppose he's had time to eliminate things or come up with excuses (read: lies) to explain away things that would make him look bad which was probably the reason he did it in the first place. Same goes for the team. If they appeal or sue the league or something they would have to fully cooperate with the investigation which means making McNally available for additional follow ups. One thing that Pats fans aren't commenting on is the fact that they intentionally hindered the investigation and that Brady called and spoke to the equipment guys for three days after it was indicated there would be an investigation. Those aren't the acts of an innocent person.
I would like to know what the actual process is. Does Brady have to bring something to the table that proves his innocence or that the punishment was too harsh for the crime? What are the requirements for getting things changed?
Please don't tell me that what I'm hearing is actually true. Pat fans are no kidding requesting donations to help poor Tom Shady pay his $1M fine. This will instantly qualify them as the stupidest morons ever. That just goes to show you that deep shit fans are clearly not franchise dependent. Oh wait, may be we can sell them a billboard.
He's not paying the fine. How stupid are they? Also how funny would it be if he tries to take this to court and gets put on the commissioners exempt list?
My understand is they can walk in say "hey im guilty can you reduce it?" Or they can actually try and fight it and lose. Goodell has like 24 hrs or 3 days to appoint an arbitrator. I cant remember which one. He can hear it or it can be neutral. This is where the union pisses me off. You wanna defend guilty guys, but get shitty union deals and complain about what you agreed to being used against you.
Apparently some of them have handcuffed themselves together in a sit in at the NFL offices as well. Just plain embarassing.

Their moms must be so proud of them for standing up for what they believe in. Cheating, Denial, and Obfuscation is The Patriot Way!
The appeal blows up in his face and they extend his suspension to 8 games for being a whiny bitch about it
Those idiots got arrested. Being unemployed doesn't pay bail, you know. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on...flategate-protest-at-nfl-offices-get-arrested
I am guessing he won't appeal the finding but the sentence saying it is too harsh which of course it isn't.
