Funny you guys are mentioning this, but I completely agree. The NHL playoffs are brutal to watch. Rangers fans have not even seen a game that did not end with a 1 goal differential yet either. I wouldn't even call it fun. It is just 2 and a half hours of pain and stress, then at the end you are either relieved with a win or bummed with a loss. Now we move to Game 7: The Ultimate Version of that.
Ryan Callahan out indefinitely with an appendectomy. I slam this guy a lot, but I hope he recovers quickly.
I agree, Ryan is a nice guy and helped us when he was here. He just wanted too much money. Get well Ryan
Ovi is all in with his mouth boy!! wow!! afraid haa haaa!! http://newyork.cbslocal.com/2015/05/11/alex-ovechkin-rangers-capitals/
ESPN Stats: Rangers 6-0 all-time at Home Game 7's at MSG. Caps 0-4 in Game 7's after leading a series 3-1. Oh Joy!
http://fivethirtyeight.com/datalab/the-rangers-are-the-san-antonio-spurs-of-the-nhl/ Rangers = Spurs?
if they were the spurs theyd have won in 2012, and last year, if only they were! they'd have a few more cups.
I have to admit, there are some games where I just mail it in, try to involve myself in something to distract me and check the score when I know we're between periods. I'm that much of a nut case, and my mood is profoundly affected by the outcome. I hate to admit this but this probably started in 1994, when in Game 6 versus the Devils, I gave up, went up to my room, I was still in my parent house then,.....and all good things happened after that. My dad (RIP) came up and rubbed it in after I had missed all the Messier magic. I couldn't have been happier. Playoffs are a killer.
It's times like these where I like my job.... but gamenight...My ass isn't working... I already called out. I haven't felt like this in a series since the Messier game 6 in NJ!!
It is always so nerve racking watching. My mind is running all over the place as game time approaches, hard to focus.
