I did not know that. I thought Goodell said that Vincent was going to make the decision on punishment. I just figured that included Brady. I thought that Brady would get 1 game not 4. I wonder what would happen if the Pats get caught again?
I don't agree, I think it is the other way around. The people who do not believe Brady is Guilty are blinded by being pat fans. The rest of us understand that he is human.
He probably said that to deflect attention away from himself. If he did actually allow Vincent to punish Brady, then he is as stupid as everyone thinks he is and the suspension will be overturned as a violation of the collective bargaining agreement
The two Patriots equipment managers have been suspended indefinitely, but, Bellicheat is left unscathed? Ridiculous.
If I'm Sean Payton, I'm screaming right now. He lost a year of his life, a year's salary. Complete bullshit that Belichik receives nothing in all of this. Roger Goodell's NFL is clown shoes.
If you think it is ludicrously unfair then please rationalize why, except for you undetailed opinion. Also please tell me your ground for believing where your correct range of games comes from. I have already provided mine
Don't beat up on Gunther, he's a champion for prison convicts who get it up the butt, for obvious reasons
For Bountygate, a Saints D-lineman- Anthony Hargrove- was suspended for 8 games for obstructing the league's investigation, and had his punishment reduced to 2 games after appeal. For that reason, I think Brady should face 2 games for both lying and hindering the Wells report with lack of compliance. Then, he should face an additional 2 games for conspiring with team officials and coercing them to violate the rulebook in order to gain a competitive advantage. A typical PED suspension is 4 games, and I feel that between the lying and the cheating he should face the same penalty.
I said if he doesn't appeal. In my mind if you don't appeal a suspension for cheating you're acknowledging that you cheated. It's a moot point, however, as Don Yee just confirmed they will appeal.
Regarding the Shady B*ady verdict: As Pharoah(Yul Brenner) said in The Ten Commandments " so let it be written.....so let it be done" And let no appeal be granted
