I think the thing that stops them from doing it again is the fact the the NFL seems to be stacking the penalties together. There's no way they get a million dollar fine or lose 2 picks if they hadn't been in bad standing from Spygate. If they do this again their franchise will be absolutely blown up.

Who's the million dollars affect though? Kraft's big wallet? Ask him if he is bothered by that.

He made more from a tainted Superbowl title then could ever be fined from him.

If the Brady appeals, the alternative punishment should be that is permanently banned from the HOF, Rose style.

The people who believe Tom is guilty wanted him to be guilty because they don't like that he beats their team. Most fans are wild animals anyway. There opinion is like a retards. One that should be ignored. Brady should retire. I would not play one down for this league and make them anymore money. Get some Jim Brown nuts and leave on your own terms.

After this weak ass punishment, I don't think it gets worse the next time they get caught. It will be the same shit....loss of first Rd pick, some $ from rich ass owner and a minor suspension. If I were them I'd cheat every year.

He's gonna appeal it and it'll be dropped to 2 or 3 games. Kinda bullshit considering Le'Veon Bell is suspended 3 games for something I consider way less offensive to the game.

"With respect to your particular involvement, the report established that there is substantial and credible evidence to conclude you were at least generally aware of the actions of the Patriots' employees involved in the deflation of the footballs and that it was unlikely that their actions were done without your knowledge. Moreover, the report documents your failure to cooperate fully and candidly with the investigation, including by refusing to produce any relevant electronic evidence (emails, texts, etc.), despite being offered extraordinary safeguards by the investigators to protect unrelated personal information, and by providing testimony that the report concludes was not plausible and contradicted by other evidence.

"Your actions as set forth in the report clearly constitute conduct detrimental to the integrity of and public confidence in the game of professional football. The integrity of the game is of paramount importance to everyone in our league, and requires unshakable commitment to fairness and compliance with the playing rules. Each player, no matter how accomplished and otherwise respected, has an obligation to comply with the rules and must be held accountable for his actions when those rules are violated and the public's confidence in the game is called into question."

    Brady can lick my sack
This is true, 4 is just about the right number and I hope the appeal is unsuccessful. I wish they would've started it at 6 so it had wiggle room to be reduced to 4.

Yea and what if the appeal is successful and they lower the suspension to 0 games?

That's why you suspend him for the season, because the NFLPA gets it's way when it comes to appeals lately and they will feel victorious to get it lowered to 4

That would be ludicrously unfair. The right range for this is 3-4 games on the sidelines, in my opinion. The lying and obstruction is worse than the deflation.

But if he doesn't appeal he would have to acknowledge guilt and issue a public apology, and I can't see him doing that given how smug he's been publicly about this.

No he doesn't. He'll just read some pre-lawyered statement in front of sympathetic crying crowd somewhere in witch town and be done with it.
