It wasn't a complete blowout, though it was a great game. I mean when's the last time were winning by 4+ TDs?

That's a positive, Smith doesn't fold he just lets himself get blindsided and fumbles.

We won 37-24. 13 points is not a complete blowout IMO. Great game, again, but I don't remember a game recently where we didn't need to play our starters in the 4th quarter.

That game was never that close. Dont skirt a score and use that as a measure of blowout.

Idzik was a horrible drafting GM... Drafts 3 WRs in the deepest WR pool in recent memory and all 3 bust...

This time 10 years ago we'd be calling Cothcery a bust.

    Dude.

He had 12 picks in the year of the QB and the year of the WR.

    And got neither.

The point is to give these guys time not everybody is gonna be a hit out the gate. The QB thing has been talked about ad nauseam before.

Expecting big things out of Jalen Saunders this year?

Maybe he just needs a little more "time".

I didn't agree with the decision to cut him. But he could still end up becoming a decent receiver especially playing with Brees.

Did you agree with him getting cut by the Cardinals? Especially with Carson Palmer?

Did you agree with him getting cut by the Seahawks? Especially Russell Wilson?

Can we stop making excuses for this POS?

Idzik failed to get a viable QB or a viable WR in the Year of the QB and the Year of the WR.

    With 12 picks.

    Please stop.

    Fuck Jon Idzik.

No excuses here. My only point is that it's too early to call someone a bust after one year. There are exceptions and anomalies but for the most part you give guys time.

People need to relax and realize it takes more than 1 season for these guys to adjust from the jump to the NFL from college. So much impatience from countless fan bases these days, every player has a different learning growth. Some guys go Odell Beckham Jr and put on a show year 1, others go the Roddy White route and go from dropping plenty of balls to becoming a very good WR. Josh Freeman made pro bowl in his 1st full season as a starter then his work ethic went to the shitz and he is now a journeyman QB at best(If you even want to call him that).

I'm thinking against the Arizona Cards a few years back when (help me) caved in (help me)'s face in the endzone on the last pass play of the game or something like that! Beat them like 45-3 and they went to the SB that year
