Grogan you better hope your golden boy is banned for the season. Otherwise its open season on him. If the NFL wont appropriately punish a known cheater who stole championships from other teams, guys like Suh and Sheldon will. Helmet to helmet, go low and take out his knees. Just you watch.

And by the way, I hope that doesnt happen. But if the NFL doesnt fairly penalize pre-meditated cheaters who dont cooperate with investigations, then it becomes street justice. And seeing those chat messages between equipment managers, I dont think Brady is the kind of guy folks will stick there neck out for to defend.

It's kind of funny how close Mort was literally moments after the fact and all these douchebag Pats trolls were exclaiming "Mort lied, there was maybe one ball half a pound light, all the rest were legal, they didn't measure the Colts balls blahblahblah".

Mort was pretty much spot on and everything we all knew came to fruition.

    Lying cheating scumbags.

Still don't give a shit about it. I don't understand why the issue is with Brady and the Pats. So they got caught "cheating", but why would the refs who spot the ball every single play not be able to tell? This is just over dramatized crap in my book. Let the guy play and let this stupid ass story die before Congress feels the need to get involved.

So you believe that Brady did this for no reason?

That refs who barely grip the ball should understand what world class professional QBs can feel?

What every professional ex-football player has said actually makes a difference?

    The fumbling stats?

    None of that matters?

I hope Congress gets involved will be LOLWorthtastic.

I just don't care. The fumbling stats are the biggest issue. The refs grip the ball enough. If a defender noticed, it's egregious that the refs didn't.

Refs hardly ever put pressure on a football like players do in drills and during a game, to expect them to be able to feel the difference as well as a player who grips the ball tightly to keep it from getting ripped free is kind of naive

I think the exact opposite. To think that refs who spot the ball, toss the ball around all game to each other and to the equipment personnel, NEVER noticed a difference. I find that incredibly hard to believe.

Well you're entitled to your opinion but if you think the casual way refs handle the ball, tossing it back and forth the way a couple of 5th graders would and spotting the ball carefully would be noticeable, that they actually put the type of stress on the ball that a player who the psi would make a difference, I must disagree.

    It's not schoolyard kickball.

Every single ex-QB interviewed said you could absolutely tell the difference between a properly inflated ball and a deflated ball.

    You and I couldn't tell.

Refs not tasked with throwing pin point passes under extreme pressure condition couldn't tell.

    Ex-QBs?

    They could tell.

If there was zero difference, why do it?

Because it provided Brady with a competitive advantage.

    An illegal one.

I know we've had our differences but this is a concise and brilliant response.

It's "their" neck out to defend. And there's no proof anyone cheated.

I don't recall anyone referring to the Wells Report as proof of anything. Seems more like a hunch written on paper.

For a league that is clearly more entertainment than sports, and so the consolation prize must exist.

    Here it is.

a hunch written on paper? lmao

let me guess you read the words "more probable than not" shit yourself, started freaking out like a 13 year old girl and haven't been able to get a hold of yourself since?

I'm not saying it doesn't make a difference. I just think people are freaking out a little more than need be. Overly dramatic responses. And I still think you guys are nuts to say that the refs shouldn't have been able to tell. If they're supposed to be 11 psi and they're 9 psi, pretty sure that'd be noticeable to anyone that handled the football.

Cheaters don't fully cooperate like any other franchise does?

Wells report could have been quite a bit more 'definitive' with timely full cooperation from Cheating Tom. Nah - ain't happening.

They are - and you are, by endorsing the cheaters - cheaters for a reason.

And since they are not fully cooperating, I would like to see the ban-hammer extra painful.
