We all saw Roger Goodell trying to downplay the cheating in the weeks prior to the Super Bowl, because he wanted to protect the SB from any financial issues. Now AFTER it's over, there's going to be some punishment? The only message this sends is that it's OK to cheat your way to a championship, because the NFL won't do a thing to jeopardize their Super Bowl game. You will only be punished the following season..... so cheat your way to a SB and then take the punishment next season. It's worth it if you win, right? Take the extra long vacation somewhere with your new SB ring and ride out the suspension in the Bahama's or something. Those scumbags in New England should have felt the punishment right then and there and been suspended for the SB game.
You do realize the Wells report was over 200 pages, right? It was done by an independent investigatory firm, and investigations usually take time. There is no way they could have investigated, made the report, and punished the Pats before the Super Bowl.
What exactly is different today than 3.5 months ago? Other than morts reporting being WAY off? And a super bowl win of course.
You do realize that the NFL has like the best of the best of its own internal investigators, like ex FBI and shit. Them hiring an outside firm was a way to delay and turn this into a bunch of convoluted lawyer talk bullshit.
Everybody knows the NFL doesn't actually give a shit about anything other than their image. If they could, they would sweep anything, and everything under the rug.
If they really wanted to shake up the pats and future would be cheaters, Anderson should have measured the balls right away after getting to the field and declared a forfeit and the colts would be winners. But they don't have enough police to stop a full scale riot at 1 patriot place That would have brought out legions of new fans and kept older ones who are questioning the crapshow going on under goodells NFL
True, but that won't stop them from suspending Brady for 4-8 games and fining the Pats. Maybe a thorough investigation has the legitimate benefit of finding as much truth as possible? No need to make a quick decision before the Super Bowl, imo. Especially because PR matters more than anything to Goodell.
11 out of 12 balls were 2 psi short of the minimum All of the colts balls tested within range Neither of those statements is even close to being true.
Closer than what you ahole Pats trolls were claiming. Mort was right and he's been proven true. And your piece of shit hero is going to suffer the incalculable shame of being suspended and forever branded a cheater. _
100%. Doing the Lords work, helping to bring down the Evil Empire. Can't wait for the punishment phase. Going to be sweet. _
It's meant to be, it's your participation ribbon. That's what it represents. In a world where nobody can stomach being on the losing side of things. It just had to be something else, in this case... half a psi or less. lol
