I want an end to the back and forth, if it doesn't end I am not Roger Goodell and play favorites, I will hand out some suspensions despite the lack of media pressure
they were also caught with illegal balls in a 2004 Jets game... so this isn't even the first time caught on this specific type of cheating. who knows what they haven't been caught for. there have been rumblings from coaches and FO personnel for awhile, but no proof. and then there is all the 'stretching' and exploitation of rules which required actual rule changes to stop. no other organization has exemplified a culture of cheating (and lack of integrity) better than the Patriots, and their flagship player has obviously bought in.. you had the thread titled correctly as 'Greatest Cheating QB all time'
I edited his link.... I didn't click on it. When I saw 17 year old girl and 1 post time to blast out of the sky.
Okay Barry he's on the Rangers thread in BS forum spamming the same post with the link. I think its time you ban that poster
Yes they did, that is the guys who were supposedly in on the fix. Buck Weaver, 3rd baseman swore till his dying breath that he wasn't in on it. His numbers supported his contention: .326 average, 11 hits (2nd highest after Shoeless Joe Jackson who had 12). An even more curious case surrounds Joe Jackson, supposedly one of the guilty parties (who was an illiterate btw) and who owns a .356 career batting average (3rd highest of all time). In the 1919 series Jackson hit .375 (highest of either team's full-time players), had the most hits (12) and slugged the only HR of the series as well (dead ball era). Interestingly, Eddie Collins who was also a member of the 1919 Chicago "Black Sox" played in the 1910 World Series that you mentioned as a member of the Philadelphia A's who defeated the Chicago Cubs. Collins was not included as one of the guilty 'Black Sox' players even though he only hit a paltry .226 that series. on-topic: nope, I'll take Montana.
That's true, I've forgotten how much fun there is to be had on a Friday in the suburbs. Knock yourself out.
I will always consider Peyton Manning the better overall QB than Brady because he is better. It is just true. Brady was always on the better teams with the better coaches, but that is life. Adding in the cheating element is fine, but we all know how the Patriots are. Brady lying doesn't even bother me cause I expected it.
No, he is not. He wasn't the GOAT going into that SB and the worst offensive play call in the history of play calling should never have elevated him to that spot. Now that it has been determined undeniably that he cheated, that he's likely been cheating for years, most probably made it TO a SB based on his cheating, no he cannot ever be considered the GOAT. _
I'd like to get at least partial credit for this. The original thread title was an insult to every Jet fan on the planet. Junc should be suspended.
It was intended as a trolling thread by a fake Jet fan who hates pretty much everything about the Jets. _
