Ryan Tannehill is very underrated, but no it's just the Patriots. I'm just tired of it, don't know why it's such a big deal to you. It's frustrating for all of us.

You didn't. Maybe in your deluded universe - but not here.

    Case in point:

Peyton leads Colts to perennial 10+ win team. He even led his team to 10-6 before he sat out an year with his neck. What happened when Peyton sat out? Colts went 2-14. In other words, Peyton was the 8-win difference. Was Sanchez anywhere near this much of a difference maker? You claim so - based on your own irrational logic. The entire world knows that's not true. Yet you claim Peyton is overrated, and Sanchez is underrated. I just have to shake my head in disbelief.

Peyton is an all time great, he's just not in the discussion for best of all time b/c he is a perennial choker.

Indy TANKED, what did Indy do the next year w/a rookie Andrew Luck? win double digit games again and make the playoffs again.

I can't help you that in your mind you are seeing me call Sanchez great and Peyton sucking. Peyton is overrated, Mark is underrated. that doesn't mean Mark is anywhere near Peyton.

    Peyton is good?

    Nah. He's overrated.

    Sanchez is bad?

    Nah. He's underrated.

Peyton CHOKES! - but I am not saying Sanchez is anywhere near Peyton!

    ====================================================

I'm fed up with this bullshit.

Nobody overrates Peyton Manning, and nobody underrates Mark Sanchez. We ALL know how Peyton is proficient during regular season, but chokes in the playoffs, and we all know how Sanchez sucks throughout. [Ok - he had a run of good games in playoffs. Fine?] In your delusional mind, somehow Peyton is overrated and Sanchez is underrated. [I don't even know how that is even possible, but that's all inner workings in your head, not mine.]

And - Colts tanked? By the end of the season, MAYBE. Are you suggesting they started the season with [Let's tank for Luck] kind of motive? Have you ever played anything with half semblance of varsity sports? Their QB roster looked mighty pitiful to begin with. Jesus.

You can't read, I cannot help you with that.

Peyton is overrated b/c fools think he is better than Tom Brady and think he is best of all time. That is how he is overrated. He is still an all time great just not in the discussion for best of all time.

Mark is bashed on here like he is the worst QB of al time so he is underrated, he is a decent QB that stepped up and helped us get closer to a SB than any Jets QB since Namath.

The Colts brought a 40+ yr old QB off his couch to start at QB just before the season started. they tanked, a similar roster won 10-11 games the next season and made the playoffs w/ a rookie Luck.

the only BS here is the nonsense you are posting b/c you refuse to actually read.

    WHO?

And I would have to say Peyton is better than Brady - because Peyton DOES NOT CHEAT.

Have you EVER checked other forums? Mark was not getting any more than other sucky QBs from other franchises, last time I checked. Are they ALL underrated too?

So, as a GM, with Peyton Manning on roster, you'd bring ANOTHER STARTER QUALITY QB on the roster on a ONE YEAR RENT, right?

QB crop that year in 2011 include the likes of: Jake Delhomme [played ONE game for Texans that year - and that was his last], Vince Young, Chris Simms, Trent Edwards, Tyler Thigpen, Chad Pennington [didn't play a single down], Brad Gradkowski, Drew Stanton, Tavaris Jackson, and Troy Smith. Colts had to go for one of these? [Yeah. QB crop in FA is usually very weak, and 2011 was no exception.]

Unless you are trading for a player [no more one year rental there, is it?] that's all you can shoot for.

You speak like Colts had other options. So enlighten the world with your wisdom.

No wonder you are not a GM. You are not talking sense.

Doesn't answer the question. You claim Colts tanked, with their QB selection - and I am asking you to show it. You should.

[This is but ONE of the points in the posting by the way.]

I didn't claim they tanked simply b/c of their QB, there's that reading thing again. I pointed out they brought a QB off the street just before the season. a 40+ yr old guy who was basically in retirement no less.

that was a talented team as proven by a year later winning 11 games and getting back to the playoffs. Peyton has played w/ top talent his entire career and the ones that overrate him try to pretend he made all those guys good players even though many had success w/ other QBs.

    What the fuck?

This is what you said - so I asked you what other options at QB Colts had that year.

Quite obviously, Luck was much better than any of the guys available during FA in 2011 - that's without a doubt. But Colts tanked? What other options did they have?

Last but not the least - Peyton's team was never that talented. If anything, his team never featured a defense that could stop the run. The only reason they didn't need to defend the run was Peyton. Once he went out, so did the entire defense. [You CLAIM you watch the football games, but if you watched the games like you claim, you should have seen this much earlier.]

where did I say that was the sole reason they tanked? how does this help all the Manning chokes in postseason?

Quite obviously and clearly, you have no fucking idea how Colts game plan worked during Peyton days.

If you do know it, say it - it can actually be condensed into a sentence.

I know, in reg season they allowed Peyton to thrive but in postseason they forced him to struggle. I get it.

Don't behave like you know something that others don't - as you know NOTHING.

This would be my last banter for now. I tire of this meaningless conversation anyway - it feels like talking to a wall.

You don't answer anything. You just blabber your point. You don't listen.

If that's your idea of [discussion] then be my guest - have a blast. No one will be there for you though. [And yeah. I'm signing out.]
