Minimum penalty is $25,000 fine. So I would have no problem if the fine was $25,000 per football, multiplied by at least 18 games just for this year, that would work out to about $5 million or so each for Br*dy and the team. If they have any evidence from prior years then add that on to the fines. Add on the duplicitous behavior displayed by Br*dy and the damage to the integrity of the game I would say 8 game suspension at a minimum. I also think the Pats and Br*dy should be required to pay for additional league personnel to be on hand for anything Pats football related for the next 10 years just to ensure this never happens again. Since your thinking is obviously wrong, it is not going to just be a $25,000 fine and mine may be a tad too much, I say a $2,000,000 fine and 6 game suspension sounds about right.
8 game suspension good grief, FOUR TIMES the suspension Ray Rice got for decking his woman and dragging her out of an elevator Quagmire style, yeah you're not biased... It's a 25K fine, not 25K per football extrapolated the entire season because that's just idiotic. "Integrity of the game I say", fuck off with that shit... Every one of these jamooks are juiced up and breaking the "integrity of the game" and we cheer for it every Sunday. 2 million? Yeah not going to happen, Brady MAY get a suspension for a game or two just because of the story the media built this into, and the NFL's bungling of what is a clear rule, fuck with the balls, 25K fine, should've been issued months ago and been done. But he's not getting suspended half the season and an 8 million dollar fine, that's just asinine.
Maybe you cheer for cheating, I want a game played on a level playing field. And as previously pointed out the $25,000 is the minimum penalty, if you can't see this goes way beyond that then I won't bother with you further, it would be a waste of my time, especially since you couldn't tell that my mention of a $5M fine each for Br*dy and the team was meant to be in jest.
You realize that since the advent of steroids NFL players are significantly faster, stronger, hitting harder, causing more damage then in generations past right? While you're on your crusade for a "level playing field" have you ever expressed outrage at the rampant steroid use in the NFL? These guys cycle roids all off-season, they know when the tests are coming and just cycle around it. That's definitely a lot more damaging to the games integrity than .5 psi from a football. Since you're calling for a 6 game suspension and a 2+ million dollar fine why would I think your 5 mil fine comment was in jest? It's only a little more unreasonable then the 2 mil fine you settled on.
its soooo funny how pats fans are all up and arms and calling the rest of the nfl world "jealous" and "haters" and "who cares". its like brady is god to them and literally is excused from any crime that he committed. they keep using the "more probably than not" quote but they probably didn't even want to read the report with the texts and brady giving those guys free shit. fuck pats fans, cheating scumbags. they were also so hoo-rah with brady CONTINUING to deny the fact that he cheated. if he continues to deny this, his legacy will be tarnished forever. oh wait it already has
Pretty much this. Here's what Mike Freeman linked on his twitter: Apparently, this needs to be explained over and over and over and over and over to Patriots fans (and even Tom Brady's agent). So here goes again. Question: why weren't Patriots warned about the Colts' allegations? The answer from a league source: "That is not the proper protocol. The responsibility of every team is to follow the rules. Teams make unsubstantiated complaints to the league office about other teams frequently. The procedure is to address it with our game officials or game operations staff, if necessary, to ensure compliance. As the Wells report stated, this was done appropriately in the this case. The referee, Walt Anderson, followed the proper pre-game procedures concerning the game balls and checked each ball to ensure proper inflation. The Patriots’ locker room attendant then broke protocol and took the footballs from the game officials locker room without permission." So please stop with the sting operation nonsense. Everyone--the NFL, the Colts, the refs, everyone--followed proper procedure except one team: the Patriots.
Indy knew in October, didn't report it until a day before the title game. Clearly they weren't concerned w/ the integrity of the game if they thought NE was cheating. They just wanted an advantage for themselves.
hahahah what a fuckin tool you are! Yeah, lets blame Indy for New England's cheating. You call yourself a Jets fan? There are New England fans with more integrity than you regarding this. You are an embarrassment
where am I blaming Indy for what NE did? It boggles my mind how many adults lack basic reading comprehension and how many adults need to curse at others. you may want to look in the mirror regarding being an embarrassment.
