Yeah let's forget about Sky-gate also. We forget about the Tuck Rule. We have no idea how long this has been happening. Fraud Tom Brady* is a cheater and there is nothing you can say about it. Go ahead, save a picture of Brady and put it as your avatar.
It's not so much deflategate (i really think this is a minor offense) it's the entire package of the "Patriotway" the filming, doctored balls, accusations of play clock tampering (alleged), etc. I cannot rip his skill both mentally and physically but i cannot put him as high as i did with how outright tarnished he is at this point. I realize a lot of people look for an advantage her and there but the outright pissing on the rulebook from that organization severely taints his legacy. PS I appreciate us having an actual coherent discussion on this. That tends to be lacking on here.
I was and I did. Like I stated, Bradshaw's performance is not at the forefront of my mind. Franco, Swann, Steel Curtain, Randall-El outperforming Ben as QB, then Ben throwing the most remarkable TD I've ever seen in a SB. Anything else you want to tell me about me, Mom?
the tuck rule- you mean the properly called play from 2001? spygate- the same thing that most of the league was doing?
Jim Gray interviewing SHady tonight...should be interesting. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/05/07/tom-brady-has-a-public-appearance-scheduled-tonight/
patriots were the only ones doing it with a freaking camera. at the end of the day, your hero is a fraud
Dynasty was built on drafts, smarts and just plain guts after 39 years of losing. Sounds like you're all butt hurt Junc as usual. Trouble is the playing field was equal in those days when it came to steriods. You're too stupid to see the difference.
So Junc is here with 50+K posts and claims to be a Jets fan? But a Brady is here hero. LOL Many are calling out Brady for his lying again today. No one believes him, not in January and not Today. Deal with it your hero is a fraud.
Some posters are saying that the inflated balls gave Brady the same kind of advantage that steroids gave Mark McGwire, etc. It's to me not a good comparison. Sure there was an advantage. But he played well without that advantage, too. As he showed in the Colts game. I can't see comparing deflated balls to steroids.
I am using your weak excuses. you are jealous b/c NE may be the greatest dynasty of the SB era(when factoring in FA and parity).
No they were not but you keep believing that. I saw someone compare this to baseball players using too much pine tar. That's a great comparison.
Do you have proof other teams' used cameras to observe signals? Did that Yankees player use the pine tar used during a playoff game? or when they were chasing the division title? NO. But again, you keep defending that hero of yours.
It matters. Taping defensive signals gives you a competitive advantage far beyond anything else. The only team that used cameras was the Pats. So don't come here saying who cares - cheaters will cheat.
