he played in that Mouse Davis system, he should have ever record in the book.

I don't know who was better, I do know w/ all those records he didn't win a championship but fantasy #s always have impressed you.

    You do not know that.

Why would you feel bad for someone for thinking another QB is better than Joe? that's seems quite odd.

b/c some nitwit says "owned" mean very little. show one example?

Dan is an all time great but unlike Brady he couldn't carry a team to a SB. Brady changed a franchise and changed a failure of a HC. Dan took over a team that made a SB w/ David Woodley a year earlier and had the winningest HC of all time.

True. But when I think of Steelers SB victories, Bradshaw is not a memory that jumps to the forefront. Sure, he was on the team. He did his job.

Ramiro Mendoza has 5 World Series rings. Not gonna do back flips if I meet him on the street.

you hate Brady b/c he beat your team a million times. I am an adult and while I hate the Pats and Brady on the field I respect greatness and he's the best I have ever seen.

top QBs always get the benefit, I don't recall the one at Indy I do recall a non call at Pitt on an illegal hit.

so it goes against him that his coaches recognized he was a great QB and designed a system that let him throw the ball all over the field because of that?

You don't know who was better because no one was!

He only played 2 years in the USFL, I think it's safe to say that considering he was the best QB in the whole league, he'd eventually have won a championship there. I mean he went to 4 SBs afterwards so its not like he peaked too early

his coach didn't design that O for him, that was the O his coach ran and Kelly was a top NFL pick so he should have been thriving in the USFL and the Gamblers had a ton of NFL talent.

I have no idea who the best was but to throw out Jim was b/c he played in a run and shoot O w/ talented teams is silly. Hebert was a great USFL QB and the Stars had a guy who ever made it in the NFL- I think his name was Chuck Fusina or something like that and there were others.

you are right there were other good USFL QBs, none as good as Jim Kelly. now you can go back to flogging Tom Brady, being wrong about almost every QB in every debate, and deflecting for our division rivals who are cheaters

Went to the first USFL game in the LA Coliseum--1983--LA Express versus the New Jersey Generals with my wife to be.

Was a blast sitting out in a sunny 1/3rd filled stadium in shorts and tee shirts with all these crazy californians all around.

The USFL was fun. I wish we had a league that competes with the NFL today. Competition makes things better and the NFL could use some competition.

I think his contract also called for him to be able to swap out a new Corvette like every 6 months.

"The billionaire owner of the USFL's LA Express, J. William Oldenberg, lured Young to the new league by basically offering him a four-year, $40 million contract that would be payable over 43 years.

Young's other choice was to go No. 1 overall in the 1984 NFL Draft to the Cincinnati Bengals, but the Bengals were only offering him $3.5 million, according to a Sports Illustrated article from March 1984. The $3.5 million wasn't even guaranteed -- Young would get a $1 million signing bonus and a five-year nonguaranteed contract at $500,000 per year.

Apparently, it wasn't a tough decision and Young signed with the Express. Under the USFL contract, Young received $4 million up front and base salaries of $200,000, $280,000, $330,000 and $400,000 for the four-year duration of the deal. Once the contract expired, Young would have no further obligation to the team, but the Express would pay him the final $30 million over 37 years, from when Young turned 28 until he turns 65.

The contract was set up as an annuity and if Young had funded the annuity, he would've been getting a $1 million check in 2014. That number would have gone up until the final year of the deal in 2027 when Young would have collected a check worth $3.173 million. Unfortunately, Young didn't fund the annuity."

That would have topped the $1 million /year the Yankees have been paying Roger Clemens for stating "I'm going into the HOF as Yankee (oops)" but nowhere near the payday Bobby Bonilla has gotten from the Mets

Funny, you don't know that either - nor do you have 1 ounce of proof. Yeah let's assume 1 QB cheated because your favorite QB cheated throughout his NFL tenure. Let's try and strain his legacy ! Makes plenty of sense. I guess a nitwit would do anything to protect their opinion.

I don't feel bad one bit - it's obvious to any TRUE NFL fan that, Joe is the undisputed GOAT QB. You don't need me to go provide proof of you getting owned, the proof is in the archives. I already know what transpired. You talk a lot, but that talk holds little value.

Apparently Brady needed help to get to those SB, so he technically didn't carry anyone.

Dan is one of the best pure QBs ever to play the game.

Bradshaw was SuperBowl MVP twice. You must not have been born nor watched the games on TV/Video
